Kamaole Poolside Cafe Maui — Restaurant in Maui

I got the blackened Mahi street tacos off the menu. Tacos come with papaya salsa that was really good. Fish wasn't dry or undercooked or over-seasoned. I'm personally really picky about tortilla chips so I was disappointed they were overcooked. For a poolside cafe it wasn't bad, nothing fancy. Food can be served at one of their tables near the bar, or you can have it served by your lounge chair area next to the pool. I'm rating this place 3 stars instead of 1 because the location is great -- just past the northernmost part of Kama'ole Beach I/Charley Young Park -- and the service was friendly and accommodating. Food was from a food truck and was just okay. The bartender who was acting as table server was impatient with our kids and walked away from us in the middle of our drink order and sent another (much nicer) server to take care of us. Its a good lunch spot while hanging around the pool, and the live music was nice, I wouldn't recommend it for dinner until the main restaurant...
