If you are traveling to Maui, Kihei is the hot spot. Lots of stores, bars, shops and beaches sure to please all tastes. If you need a place to crash after a long day of sun bathing or exploring, Maui Vista has excellent accommodation.
We rented a two bed, (1 loft) two bath condo with ocean views. It also has a hideaway sofa for additional quest or children. Be advised, not all rooms have ocean views, book wisely and plan accordingly. Our condo was equipped with a full kitchen and balcony overlooking the ocean. Some of the other amenities include multiple tennis courts, pools and gas grills.
There's also convenient access to the beach. You can walk less than 100 yards across the street to reach a very huge beach for paddle boarding and snorkeling.
Take a walk in either direction to access local shops and bars. This is a bustling area, but not overly crowded at the time of our stay.
In conclusion, Maui Vist is an excellent location with great accommodation very clean and friendly staff. Each unit is individually owned so the decor and upkeep may vary, but over well...

Please please please! stay away from this unit. They have outdated appliances in the condo. We've had multiple maintenance issues during our 7 days stay. Refrigerator was partially broken. Washer/Dryer was very loud and noisy. Useless AC - temperature was restricted up to 72F. Bedroom is very hot. No window ventilation.
Toilet tank/flush was in poor condition. We had to make in between service request to make it work properly. They blamed us for lifting the tank as if there was a hidden treasure inside it which we wanted to search for!!! It was impossible to use the toilet till the request was fixed by plumber and we had to worked it around manually. Finally massive amount from the deposit was taken away blaming us to break the toilet tank. No photo, no proofs sent to us.
Also don’t use HomeAway/VRBO etc....

My Mom didn't have her handicapped placard with her but we parked in the spot while unloading and cleaning car out/sweeping sand out of the car. Instead of asking us to move the vehicle the security woman called the police. We moved the car to a visitor spot and in the morning we found a $260 ticket on the car. We feel she should of said something to us instead of calling to police insuring we would be cited. A terrible way to end...
