Spent thousands, paid in full the day of purchase, on two leather loveseats. We chose them because they were firm and were told they wouldn't lose that firmness any time soon. Within a month the seat cushions were no longer firm and supportive. The second loveseat was delivered a month after the first and the difference in the cushions was extremely noticeable. You expect some softening over time of course. But to feel like you're sitting on a completely different loveseat after a month is ridiculous. We weren't going to say anything. We chalked it up to bad luck. And regardless of the soft unsupportive seats, the furniture was still well made and nice looking. Then we started getting bug bites while sitting on the couch. At first we thought maybe we had a rogue misquito. And then it happened again, and again. I scoured my bedroom, bed, the exterior of the loveseats looking for a spider. Found nothing. Until we decided to flip the loveseat over to look at the back and bottom. Yay! Bed bugs! Took pictures, collected the pests in a bag, called terminix, then Furniture Row. The manager asked for pictures. So I sent him an email with pictures of the bugs on the bottom of the couch. Two days later and still no response. Terminix believes they can save the loveseats. But it's going to cost us $700+tax to have them treated and the rest of my home treated preventatively. There was no evidence of the critters anywhere else in my home thank goodness, and my daughter, who is never on the loveseats, has had no bites. I realize these things happen. Terrible terrible luck. But I expected more considering the amount of money we dropped and the fact that this wasn't a rental place. Live and learn. From now on we will be inspecting every inch, every nook and cranny of any new furniture we bring into our homes before the delivery people leave.
Update: Finally heard back. I was told they did an investigation and found that no one else has had any issues and that they found no critters on a couch that we returned (wouldn't fit so had to get the second loveseat). Therefore, according to them, the bed bugs did not come from the loveseats. Just a complete coincidence that we had no issues till receiving the loveseats and that's the only place the pests...
Read moreWe shopped during the promotion that gave $100 off per thousand spent across all brands at Furniture Row. We began in Bedroom Expressions and purchased $1,603 (before tax and delivery) of bedroom furniture. We wanted to add in the mattress but were told that we had to pay for the furniture and then go over to Denver Mattress to purchase the mattress. They took off $100 for the promotion since we were over $1,000 taking the total to $1,503 before taxes and delivery. We paid the invoice and went to pick the mattress. When we were making our mattress purchase, we purchased a mattress, protective mattress cover, and a pillow in order to have our total be over $397 to make our total over $2,000 for the next $100 off. We were then told that we had to re-spend the $100 promotion in order to qualify for the additional $100 off. In other words, they were going off the $1,503 rather than the $1,603 for the invoice of our furniture purchase. I was made out to be the bad guy (or gal) for getting upset that I wasn't receiving the $100 off. I had to apologize rather than the other way around. When I asked to speak to the store manager, I was informed that the store manager was helping me. I was shocked that he wasn't aware of how the promotion should work. If I had purchased the mattress first and purchased the furniture second, it wouldn't have been an issue. However, it shouldn't matter the order when the total retail price remained the same. Be aware that Furniture Row tries to scam you out of the full discounts when you spread the amount across their different brands. If we didn't need the furniture that they carry for fitting in our kids rooms, I would have cancelled my entire order and gone across the...
Read moreOk so I am not one to write a bad review. In fact this is my first. I bought a house that I am fixing up I have no furniture. I went to furniture row and paid for a sectional and recliner up front and was told it would be delivered in 2-3 weeks. It has been two months!
Dusty my salesman didn’t bother to pick up the phone once to tell me it was going to be longer and every time I called they kept telling me it would be another 2-3 weeks! So my wife calls and Dusty finally gets on the phone. He says it’s going to be the middle of July and she got pretty upset so he says I will give you $250 off. No way not good enough we have people coming from other states for the 4th of July and we have nowhere for them to sit. So he says let me do some digging around and I will call you right back.
He calls back. Oh hey guess what I have your furniture but all I could get for the sectional are the power recliners so I will upgrade you for free! She asked about the $250 back and he says well your husband ordered online and that just comes with manual recliners. What’s funny is I went into the store and paid in full for power recliners while looking Dusty in the eyes. I in no way shape or form ordered online but I showed him the sofa I wanted on their website.
So he not only lied to us but is also trying to get out of paying us back for the severe inconvenience he has caused us. So at this point he says I will have your furniture delivered to you on Tuesday and I will call on Monday to set up a time with me. It’s Monday 5:30 pm and no call. I am soooo unhappy with this company and how they treat their customers I would never recommend them to anyone unless you like stress...
