Here we have a beautiful example of how a company loses US$3,300 per minute, approximately US$11.8 million per day. Or US$55 in only 2 seconds of a (rude) treatment.
I asked a young female attendant if I would be able to rent a jet sky for a quarter of an hour, as I would just like to have the experience of driving one for a maximum of 10 minutes. I also tried to explain that in Brazil, due to the exchange rate being 1 US$ = R$5.50, half an hour, which in their table costs US$100, for Brazilians it would cost the equivalent of US$550.00 in conversion.
After explaining in detail, the attendant asked me at the end of it all: "What did you say???". Typical of these generations...
Afterwards, another older attendant rudely said that they cannot rent for different prices than what is on the table. Typical too, because they think they are Americans just because they live in the USA... but all the native Americans I met were extremely kind, cultured, anyway, I don't need to say anything more. Well, I thanked him and went to get my backpack.
When I went back to take photos to do this review, I watched a couple have their first jet sky experience and, you know what? I didn't see any emotion. Better to spend US$110 for half an hour donating to a charity than at Miami's BouYah, as everyone will be very emotional in the first option.
And this BouYah at Loews of Miami Beach even puts up a sign, on a public beach, like all beaches, saying that you are not supposed to stand there or swim. If they are rude? No... It's your impression.
Would I spend my hard-earned money renting a jetsky here to look like a successful person? Never. Renting here is for people who don't know how to make money, want to appear rich, but lose a fortune because they don't know how to serve customers. You also don't know that in commerce you win on volume, and not by exploiting your own customers to the fullest.
Get your money's worth without wanting to look like you're rich. Real rich people don't need that. Only those who want to look rich. IMHO, they are all dumb asses, like the two attendants of these company.
Stay away from this area. And read the one-star reviews to see that they learn nothing and that I'm telling the truth.
(The automatic response they will give to my review bellow will make you realize what a mere...
Read moreWould NOT recommend!! Terrible experience. Staff was very rude and had attitude because we wanted to rent a jet ski 1.5hrs before they closed (for half hour). Girl was upset because she didn’t get to close early. If you want to go, go mid day so you don’t upset any snowflakes. We had plenty of time. We got our full 30 minutes, but the two other groups that went out after us had to come in at the same time, they weren’t too happy!!
If you want to close up at 4…ADJUST YOUR HOURS!! No need to be rude to customers due to lack of work ethic.
The actual jet ski experience - 3 stars - just your typical jet ski rental, although you have a guy policing you around. I went super slow with my fiancé (she doesn’t like them that much) and we stayed within their boundaries but were whistled and waved back multiple times. Took away from the actual fun of being out...
Read moreFirst and foremost, easy process for riding. The crew at the check-in stand are second to none. They were all very helpful and knowledgeable about what to do and what to expect. Also, they let you store your valuables at their station. Literally, not a speck of dust on any of my belongings when I returned. Secondly, Ed showed me a great time! I asked Ed how far out can we go? He said follow me… the photo explains it all! Wish I could share the video of us venturing out there. However, my language on the video might get us in trouble. Seriously, from start to finish, an amazing experience! Recommend an hour. It seems like a long time but well worth it. Primarily because it’ll take you 25 minutes to remember that you can...
