LIK Fine Art — Local services in Miami Beach

My friend and I went to Peter's gallery on Lincoln Rd. a couple of days ago. We spend 4 hours bargaining for a lower price on 3 photos totalling $20,000, and finally managed to bring it down to $15,330. Two days later, my friend, and buyer, was ready to pay for his 3 prints and he asked me whether or not he should shell out the $15K. I adviced him that, as a short term investment, he should not because the gallery has overhead to pay like salaries, light bill, rent, etc..., and should he try to flip them, all he's going to get is aproximately 60% of his initial investment. Furthermore, I told him to get it if he wants to appreciate them on the walls of his home. Peter is a shrewd merchandising genius and twice a self-promoter than he is a photographer, and let me tell you, he is an excellent photographer. We just concluded an 18 day process of ordering 12 pieces to decorate my office. I worked with Eugene Bueno out of the Peter Lik Miami Gallery. To best describe my experience I would say it was truly stimulating. Ups and downs, additions and modifications and change after change after change. The process was extremely involved and challenging but Eugene made it well worth the effort. Patient, honest direct, no non sense is how I would describe this gentleman! He was wonderful. Eugene is the epitomize of professionalism, well versed in his craft. His knowledge of the art he sells made the process extremely fun. I truly cannot wait to get these pieces up in my office. An unexpected highlight of our trip. The staff went out of their way to give a group of random visitors a great experience. NO photography, but just stop in and ask questions. The artwork will blow you away. Especially when they show you how it reacts to light. Always saw Peter Lik's work on my google chromecast and finally saw the pieces in person.
