We explained our entire situation before starting the refinance process. Even tho I’ve been doing this for over 40 years I let my son work with there team .first they required a $2000 deposit to cover appraisals, we thought that sounded a little high seeing the typical appraisal in our area is $500-$750 . They bought in an appraiser that wasn’t from the area and when finished the 2 appraisals one on a 700’ single family one on a fourplex across the street, the appraisal was so far off it almost seemed negligent one was actually high lol the other low well after being fast talked for 2 weeks they were not able to meet are needs when we asked for a refund there trying to tell us the paid over the $2000 deposit we gave so there was no refund , I’m away on vacation right now but when I get back I’ll be filing a complaint with the better business bureau, the banking commission, and the Florida attorney general trust me they haven’t heard the last of us , on principal only I will make waves it’s not the money but all the fat talking and false promises they make.
