I recently visited Magdalena Coffee & Houseplants in Miami and was truly impressed. I went there in the morning with a friend, and we were immediately welcomed by the calm and warm atmosphere. I ordered an oat milk latte - it was smooth, well-balanced, and topped with a lovely foam. To go with it, I had an almond croissant - freshly baked, with a crisp crust and rich filling. My friend chose a cinnamon roll and a flat white, and he said it was one of the best cinnamon rolls he had ever tasted. We also ordered a strawberry smoothie and a glass of fresh orange juice - both were refreshing and tasted very natural. After that, we tried the pistachio tart, which was light, delicately nutty, and had a beautiful texture. Everything looked as good as it tasted. I also tried a small lemon cake for dessert - sweet, but with a pleasant citrus tang that balanced it perfectly. The service was attentive and kind; the staff helped us choose and explained everything patiently. The menu is great for people avoiding dairy or looking for lighter, vegetarian-friendly options. It’s a peaceful place, perfect for a quiet moment with a book or just chatting with a friend. The prices match the quality - not cheap, but definitely worth it. I left feeling completely satisfied and would return without hesitation. It’s the perfect café for a relaxed and delicious start to the day. The food, the drinks, and the overall vibe were all...

Magdalena Coffee Bar and Houseplants truly impressed with its delightful blend of specialty coffee and serene ambiance. During my 1.5-hour visit, I savored their extraordinary specialty coffee, which showcased their commitment to quality. The attention to detail in every aspect, from the preparation of the coffee to the top-notch customer service, added to the overall exceptional experience.

Indulging in a velvety coffee latte was a treat for the senses, and the pinnacle of my visit was the Affogato, a masterpiece that truly hit the spot. The harmonious marriage of creamy gelato and robust espresso was a flavor symphony that left a lasting impression.

What truly sets Magdalena apart is not just their exquisite coffee offerings, but also the cozy atmosphere adorned with lush houseplants. This combination created a serene oasis, making it an ideal spot for spending quality time.

Without a doubt, Magdalena Coffee Bar and Houseplants comes highly recommended for those seeking an extraordinary coffee experience coupled with an ambiance that nurtures relaxation and enjoyment. Cheers to a memorable visit that will undoubtedly have me...

I don’t usually leave negative reviews but I took my last visit personal and I was so disappointed. I’ve been going to this place multiple times a week since it opened. It’s gotten more popular over time and I believe the shop can’t keep up with its increase in traffic because the food quality and customer service has declined significantly. Because I’m a loyal customer, I continued to go anyway. During my last visit, I was taken care of by the owner or manager and she was incredibly rude. I honestly feel she is racist because it’s not the first time I’ve heard some one of color complain about mistreatment. It was honestly strange. Maybe she was having a bad day? It seemed like she was putting more effort into being rude rather than being professional. I’m kind and polite, I don’t understand why she would act this way. Any way I’m leaving this review in hopes that the coffee shop will circle back on their customer service and work on treating every one equally. Also, she gave me burnt pastries. I will not be returning. Heads up, Toasted Bagel sources their pastries from the same carrier and...

I decided to try this place randomly one morning and I would call it mid at best. The service is fine. The food is pretty good. They have a very small menu. The iced chai latte I got was 95% milk and didn’t really have any taste of chai. There is ZERO parking outside. It’s street in front of a building and a construction site so there’s really no parking at all. The shop is pretty small, half of it was full of people on laptops taking up the seating. They had a few plants here and there but they were leggy and seemed not well taken care of. All the flowers on the tables were also passed away. The place was okay, I wouldn’t come back if I had to drive or find parking again, but maybe walking around that neighborhood.
