Oh man. I am BEYOND in love with A Trio. Ive only had our first sit down with her and i am dying to write a review about them already. After looking at a lot of large jewelry stores, my boyfriend and i were slowly less excited about the engagement ring shopping process. We felt judged for our budget, and couldn't find exactly what i was looking for. We felt like we were going to have to settle for something while spending a fortune. On the drive home i suggested we swing by A Trio just to take a look (I read about it online). We walked in.. and i was IMMEDIATELY so happy that we did. First off.. Amy is a gem. I adore her. She was so passionate, welcoming, and sweet. She sat us down and showed us exactly how their 3-D design worked. My boyfriends mind was blown.. and it was the first time i saw him really get into the process. Over the next hour she showed us all the options we had and was able to show me EXACTLY what i had been looking for all along. And the best part.. we felt no judgment for our budget. She was absolutely amazing when we even told her we were considering alternatives to diamonds to get more bang for our buck. Its the best feeling to say that i can TRUST her and we know that no matter what she has our best interest as her focus. And when i saw some of her work i have no doubt that my ring will be stunning. I had a vision and they truly brought it to life. You could not ask for more talented artists or kinder people. They went above and beyond! I went in several times with design changes (I am very indecisive!), and Amy was so patient and helpful. I never felt rushed or pressured in the slightest to do anything. Additionally, she offered suggestions that made my design even better. I trust her opinion completely. A Trio Jewelry Design created my custom wedding ring set by combining two heirloom rings I was given for my engagement, and I’m really happy with the end result. They listened to my ideas and quickly brought my vision to life. The bands are sturdy, the pricing was fair, and they even resized my ring multiple times until we got the perfect fit. I also love that they offer free cleanings and that it’s a family-owned local shop in the Third Ward—it has a very warm, welcoming feel.

That said, there are a few things to know: their hours are pretty limited, and the process itself isn’t very formal. I would have appreciated design mockups or proofs to review ahead of time- I wonder if they would have had better ideas for me, and since there aren’t structured appointments, the experience can feel a little chaotic or unorganized.
