Waste of time and incompetence. They were recommended as they have a "special" Laser for doing delicate work. So I drop off the bracelet explaining 3 links needed to be removed, specifically the master link and two others that were also damaged. 3 Weeks later I go to pick up the bracelet and 2 links were removed but not the damaged links. An Idiot could have just opened the jump ring and taken a couple links off.I went to then for the Laser. They tried to charge $45. I re-explained, put back the links and remove the Master. I Added that I didn't mind if the master looked different, be creative. It just cannot look damaged. Another 2 Weeks pass. Finally, It's done! I drive all the way back up to Morrow Bay from Santa Maria. They didn't do a thing. Not repaired & not returned in the original condition. Links they shouldn't have removed weren't put back on the bracelet. So now I'm worse off than I started. Missing two 18k gold jump rings now. and I'll have to pay someone to put the links back on. Gee sorry we couldn't do the work but here is the $45 bill. I was so stunned I didn't want to pay it. Felt like coercion. If I don't pay they will keep the bracelet. I'd have to bring litigation to get it back. So I paid but Not Happy about the whole thing. I'm going to dispute the charge with Visa. If they have a problem with it...
Read moreHandmade ring by J. Cordero broke in less than a month the first time, a whole chunk of the band popped out. When i got the ring fixed from j. Cordero it was sized incorrectly. Once it was remade I wore it for a day and it popped at the top near the setting. We tried to keep going back because this is a local family and we didn't want to leave this unhappy and upset with the craftsmanship. We wanted it to get better, fixed, solved. But after their customer service quickly became sour and their only offer to solve the broken ring was to buy one off their pre made catalogue options, we left. Found great people in slo who were happy to take our pieces and create a beautiful handmade ring with exceptional customer service! I would not suggest this place...
Read moreLovely small-town and beach-town jewelry store. We went in just to measure a family member's ring finger, but ended up with Pam, the owner, kindly making a small safety-repair and a deep cleaning on my engagement ring, even having me come back the next day for a longer and better cleaning, all for no charge. Someone else was heading in with 4 watches that needed repair. So it's a full-service jewelry store. Plus they have a calm but delightful Maltese dog, Miss, who will dance and twirl in exchange for a dog treat. Definitely a nice place to stop in, and I will definitely consider returning if I have any...
