This was my experience: My mother, grandmother, and I walked into Dillards and my mother and grandmother stopped to look at the Vera Bradley merchandise. I continued to walk around the corner and stopped because I did not realize they were not behind me and store representative Regina who worked in the handbag department told the lady at the jewelry counter to watch us. The lady at the jewelry counter then precedes to ask us if we need help. We kindly said no. Then we continued to walk to the handbag section and talked sales representative Regina because my grandmother was asking about hand wallets and Regina said no we do not carry those. My grandmother said no, I have already looked at Dillards online. She said no we do not have those and told us to maybe try Amazon. My grandmother looks down the aisle and said these are what we are looking for. We ended up buying three wallets because my grandmother wanted to treat us. I’ve escalated this situation because she told the lady at the jewelry counter to watch us. I felt she thought we would not be able to afford anything in Dillards, and did not want to help us find what we are looking for. She told us to shop at different retailers. We are loyal customers. We did not appreciate her actions. I will continue to escalate this situation and let others know about my experience with Regina. She is very discriminating and does not do...
Read moreOliver Graves!!!! Most outstanding personal experience I’ve had with a department store, EVER!!! HE CARED!! Not only did he care about our purchase, he educated us along the way. He went above and beyond to get to know us personally, and was able to help us pick items for our home that were perfect! We are so grateful for all of his efforts and could not be happier! This guy ran the show like no other and if he isn’t management, he should be!!!
Furthermore, we told him we wanted to apply for a Dillard’s credit card. Then, I couldn’t believe that he had a new employee take our credit info and to have him take credit for it. This selflessness blew my mind. Oliver hand wrapped all our new dishes, out of care and respect as they were his. Then, personally delivered them to our vehicle. He made sure to give us his business card and let us know if we had issues or questions, he would be happy to help.

The associates that passed near me acknowledged me and asked if I needed any assistance. As I was browsing in one department, an associate who had previously offered me assistance explained that she would be one department over for just a moment, but would be right back to check on me. I appreciate that level of customer service. There was merchandise to fit every taste (and budget.) The sales were good; the clearance sales were fantastic. I purchased 3 Calvin Klein blouses at more than 80% off. I highly recommend shopping this Dillard's. One note of caution, however - if you purchase any item(s) that include an extra percentage off, not indicated on the price tag, your must pay for that in the same department where the merchandise is located; otherwise, you will not receive the full discount.
