I scheduled a private golf cart tour of the city with JoyRide while in Nashville. I wanted something special and memorable for a friend’s birthday so I went with the private tour. We were told to arrive at 9:30am for our 10am tour but when we arrived, no-one was there. Finally, someone showed up at 9:45am. There was a large bar inside and I guess if we started with alcohol, we might have thought the tour was better. Nick was our guide and he was OK but we walk out to our golf cart and two of the four of us had to sit facing backwards. I saw larger golf carts online and some parked on the street so I was NOT happy about that. We should have been facing forward so we can see things before we passed them plus who likes riding backwards?!? How can you tour Nashville and look at what the guide is pointing out when you’re facing the traffic behind you? We went to a lot of murals and were offered to get out and take pics. Ugh, no thanks. We have seen murals before and we wanted to see the city sights and maybe get some history. Long story short, it was a disappointment. I would not...
Read moreWe had a total riot on our Joyride Nashville evening golf cart tour! Keith, our guide, was an absolute joy himself and made the whole experience unforgettable!
We saw so much of the city in our 90 minute tour- from the Honky Tonk bars, Music Row, Printers Alley along with the colorful murals, government buildings, hotels, and great local restaurants. Keith gave us tons of fun facts and fantastic recommendations along the way.
It was a little confusing to find at first, but here’s a tip: you can park in the nearby lot, head inside the bar, and they’ll point you to your guide.
The ride itself changes depending on where you sit on the go cart. The middle seats are great if you’re a bit more conservative or safety minded with seat belts, while the back seats (which face backward) are for the more daring riders! Either way, it’s a fantastic way to see a ton of the city in a short amount of time.
Keith took his time, made sure we saw everything we wanted, and even doubled as our photographer. It's such a fun and memorable experience which I...
Read moreOur first time in Nashville and wanted to try something new. My girlfriend book this tour to explore Nashville and uncover new things that you can’t find just from googling.
Our tour guide Ron was AWESOME! I’m not a big fan of guided tours as I like to explore at my own leisure, but Ron really set the standard and a high bar to a personalized guided experience. He was very welcoming and SUPER knowledgeable about all things Nashville. He was very patient with us and offer to take our pictures which I know my girlfriend truly appreciated as we didn’t get to take many during our stay. We did a 3 hour tour of the city and he really helped us grasp the landscape of Nashville to show how it all connected. By the end of this trip I learned so much history of Nashville and truly appreciated my stay so much more.
Ron, you are the man and wish you nothing but the best. Highly recommend ask for Ron as your tour guide. Golf cart touring was hands down a better experience than any guided bus because it offered so much flexibility to stop and...
