All true good review but the problem has been fixed.

Noom World HQ: BAIT AND SWITCH!! When I set up my program the cost was $128.00 per year, deferred for a trial period. Today my app went into a “free upgrade mode” and made me go through the whole annoying onboarding process again and then DEAD ENDED me at a screen requiring me to agree to $44.00 PER MONTH! The most egregious case of BAIT AND SWITCH I have ever seen in my life. Needless to say I have deleted the app and posted cautionary reviews.

Update: Turns out this all happened because there was a technical problem, which causes the end user to default to the App Store. And we all know what happens when Apple gets their hooks into a deal: expect the cost to triple, and stick to your skin like hot boiling caramel. All you need do to get it off is call Noom...

This development is essentially a dystopian nightmare brought to life. The street level has become a desperate and apocalyptic scene, while the elevated platform hosts enthusiastic security guards, tourists and a handful of office workers and local residents.

Don't plan on arriving by bicycle. They don't allow accompanied bikes to be in this "park".

Bike lock up areas are located to discourage bike riders to visit. They are old, dirty, unkempt and unsafe. Bike locks that have been cut with chain cutters litter the area.

Private security polices the "park" with enthusiasm. Three security guards accosted me within a minute...

What a joke, the security at this place makes one think it is Fort Knox or the equivalent. You'll be waiting endlessly should a denizen of this high security paradigm forget to put you "on the visitor list". What is even more fascinating is that the elevators only go to certain floors. Visiting a friend on another floor? Good luck! You're in for an adventure... just not...
