Platform edge doesn’t have bumps, station looks decayed, lighting is dark orange, no overhead signage displaying where the R is going and intercom is glitched and plays extremely loud static nonstop. Trains bypassing this station are EXTREMELY loud.

No elevators so take this into consideration if you prefer not to climb stairs. R is downstairs, F is upstairs. I use the north entrances across 9th street for the R and the 4th Ave entrance for the F. The transfer is not totally convenient but it is nice to have options
