This NYC subway station is very nice, but there is one very big problem with it. This subway station has 2 platforms that are above-ground, and another 2 are below ground. The problem is that the station does not have an elevator. This subway station serves as a stop for 3 different trains. 2 of these trains are located on the above-ground platforms, and 1 on the below-ground platforms. In this station, there are a TON of stairs, and it's almost impossible for those unfit to climb stairs to get to the top. You can hear the different between the F and G train approaching out of the northbound tunnel, so you know when you have to run up the stairs or not. Having the choice of F or R for heading into Manhattan is convenient, as well as being able to head straight up to Atlantic Ave/Terminal; options are nice.
