I’m new to buying designer apparel, so when it comes to purchasing I’ve been experimenting with what I like and what I don’t like. Acne Studios fits my aesthetic perfectly, and so far up until this point I’ve had a wonderful time buying some pieces in store. The service at the Greene Street location has been literally superb. Aurora, Taylor, and Kaelly in particular are seriously the best and have been super patient with me as I discover what styles suit me best... Well today I decided to take a little detour to try out the Horatio Street location, and I must say I’m quite disappointed. Usually before I go into a store I do my research beforehand to see if they have the item I’m interested in in stock... in particular I had my eye on a few pieces of sale items that they still had in stock at Horatio but not Greene. I walked in and was immediately met with a cold energy. I’m usually pretty bubbly, so I asked nicely if they had some of these sale items in store. The sales associate said that they stopped selling sale items in store a couple weeks ago and that if I wanted a sale item I could only find it online. I found this interesting, as I had purchased a sale item from the Greene Street store (in person) only two days prior. I then proceeded to ask about the sale items that they clearly have in stock according to the website. They said, “well we do I guess. What were you looking for?” So it was very apparent that they simply did not want to take the time to sell me a sale item, which is very disheartening because I was very interested in buying a super dope trench coat!! I left without saying a word and I do not intend to return.
I used to work retail in the city and I know just how rough it can be especially after the craziness of the holidays... Reduced hours, rude customers, etc. I get it. Right now is just not a fun time to be in retail, but I don’t think Ive ever taken this approach with a customer...
Although this doesn’t taint my experience with the brand as a whole, it has tainted my feeling about the Horatio Street store. I will be taking my business to the fabulous Green Street...

His professionalism and genuine care for customer satisfaction made all the difference. Highly recommend visiting the store and working with Brooklyn for a top-notch...
