REFUSED TO REDEEM STAMP CARD
I've been a customer of Allure Nail Salon since 2022. After my first visit, I received a stamp card that if I filled up, I could trade in for a free manicure. I was excited to trade it in my card last week, after more than three years of being a customer at Allure.
Imagine my surprise when I walked in with my stamp card and they said that rather than a free manicure ($15 value), they can only offer a $10 discount. I clearly showed them what my stamp card said ("free manicure"), and they said that they had switched to another stamp card since 2022, so I could no longer redeem the old one. However, every time I came in to get my nails done, which included two visits in the weeks before this happened, they kept stamping the old stamp card (which looks very different than the new one) without mentioning that this stamp card could no longer be redeemed.
I felt taken aback and disrespected. This isn't about the money - it's about the principle and how this business decided to treat a longtime customer. Rather than rewarding me for my loyalty (I was a customer long enough for them to switch stamp cards!), I was punished for it. I was only asking for them to honor what was written on the card - a promise they had made, not me.
The cost of keeping me as a customer would have been minimal, but after the disrespect I experienced, I will not be coming back here. This is a poor way to conduct business. If you make a loyal customer a promise, you should honor it. Keep in mind that I have purchased many services here that were not cheap and have always...
Read more🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I honestly don’t have enough words to express how AMAZING my experience was with these two incredibly talented and beautiful women! ( Bina and Maya)💅✨ From the moment I walked in, they made me feel so welcome and comfortable. Their energy, attention to detail, and passion for their work truly shine through in everything they do.
The nail art they did for me is absolutely stunning — truly a masterpiece! I have never, ever had such perfectly done nails before in my life. The designs were unique, elegant, and done with so much care. They gave the most perfect manicure ( done by Bina) and Pedicure ( done by Maya). It’s honestly the most beautiful work I’ve ever seen on nails. I can’t stop looking at them! 😍
But what touched me even more was the genuine care they showed. One of them noticed an issue with one of my toenails and kindly gave me advice on how to take care of it — something no one has ever mentioned before. It wasn’t just a nail appointment; it felt like a self-care session with professionals who actually care.
I left not only with gorgeous nails, but with a warm heart and a huge smile. If you’re looking for quality, kindness, and artistry — look no further. Thank you both so much for...
Read moreWell, I think for services, it’s more of the person who does your nails/ wax rather than just the salon itself. My first 3 times were good experiences-that I’ve always gone back, I’ve had 2 different waxing ladies and it was a very good experience. Their Brazilian is $35....on my 4th time I got this particular lady and I didn’t have a good experience. I felt that her personal style in waxing was very messy-sticky all over and it hurt and took longer than usual. She also charged me $40-plus $5 for the “back side”... but I was only charged 35 the last 3 times. I complained and she just charged me $35. Recently I decided to try again and I got the same lady as last time, she was nice enough to ask if I wanted someone else, but I was being polite that I said she was okay...wrong! She was still messy and it really hurt. She kept waxing the same place again and again. In all my years of waxing, this is the first time it hurt this much. And she said that she really needs to charge me $40 because her boss said it’s $5 for the back side. From all the Brazilians I’ve had, there was never extra pay. I paid it but I guess I won’t be coming back here. Too bad, I did like the services of the...
