My original post was over six months ago. It was removed by Google because they were under the impression that the situation was resolved when I received the partial refund. I noticed the review was missing (never said by you). I put my review back up because it was not resolved. I was in no rush that day. I came back to pick it up after it was potted because I had other errands on that block where my time was better spent. Again, you are blaming the customer. I paid for the plant. Plenty of time to discuss that the sap was toxic. I think it is unbelievable that you expect a customer to ask if what they are purchasing poses any threat to a child.I notice you don’t sell that type of anymore. Interesting.
Update2- actually I did not receive a full refund and can post that receipt here, but I think anyone reading this review will see that you are actually the one with the attitude given your derogatory remarks.
Update- actually, it wasn’t resolved to my satisfaction, I just noticed that my review disappeared.
There was only one other customer in the store that day. Plenty of opportunity to let me know that I was purchasing a plant that was toxic.
On my first correspondence via email, you only offered me a store credit. I insisted on the refund.
When I got to your store to return it, you tried to get me to keep the pot which I had no use for because I purchased the plant and pot as a bereavement gift. Then you refunded me my money minus the “potting fee” and I got a lot of attitude.
Have some accountability for what you sell and do instead of turning it back on the customer.
Original Post I purchased a plant from them as a bereavement gift a few months back. They failed to mention that it was a toxic plant. The plant was being brought to a house with a toddler in it. After a lot of eye rolling they did refund my money with the exception of the...
Read moreThis is a beautiful shop located in a brownstone. The aesthetic is minimalist splendour. Almost every item is exquisite and the atmosphere is very tranquil. It was not crowded when I was there so there was great flow. I bought a gift and the clerk offered to gift wrap it. I highly recommend this store for kitchen, home, and garden wares. The items have clean, simple lines, and calming tones. If you are visiting from another neighborhood, I recommend a stopover at nearby Poste Italiano or Hungry Ghost for a...
Read moreI bought a $35 plant pot, had the potting service here. (I brought my own plant) They charge $5 for the service, even though it was a small size plant. I think it's over priced especially when I bought something in their store. More important part is that they poured so much water for my new succulent plant while they were potting, my plant immediately DEAD after. You shouldn't offer potting service if you aren't...
