I have very disappointed experience with them. I tried to make an appointment for second visit. And before that I needed some free consultation/just needed to talk to my stylist. The day I called them, my stylist was on a day off and the receptionist said she is gonna let him know to text me today but I told her out of respect the next day would be absolutely fine since he is having a day off. Then the next day, I end up calling them then the receptionist responded me like he is on a break and about to call you so chill out with kinda annoyed type of attitude. Then the stylist end up came to the phone and asked me to send pictures for consultation. Right after I hang up, i send pictures to the number he provided right away. But never received any response from him. Have no idea why would they do that. Either they just really disorganized or just looking for some big spender. 🤑 idk. But either way not very respectful. I feel wasted my time and energy. I end up not able to get my hair done the date i needed. Smh

Which is weeks ago and now they wanna replay for this post exactly the same things they already told me. And i even ask them to stop doing back and forth cz they basically calling me out that I didn’t send the message with right number. this truly indicate they just care about this post to seem ppl and judged. Not really sincerely, apologizing TO ME. It’s so funny because they kept telling me that “we didn’t receive that Message”. But here is why it’s really funny because I checked the number AGAIN after they told me “i send to a wrong number”. But again, it was the right number, they asked me to double check and I already tell them it was the correct number. but they still wanna talk about this after weeks later. And top of that First of all even if they provided right number and I send to the number but somehow it didn’t go through isn’t my fault at all, Second of all, the receptionist wasn’t acting that way I described in the post, I would’ve been called them again, but they make me feel like if I keep calling them, it might be annoying, That kind of impression they gave to me is a fact. My past experience at Brave was very terrible. The color did not come out the way I want. my hair became very dry after a week of this poor service. The color also did not stay longer than 2 weeks. It was very hard to communicate with the colorist because he can barely speak Eng. So after a week, I decided to ask for a full refund which Brave Salon agreed to refund it.
A few weeks passed by, I contacted them again- they said they have to contact the Japan location for approval. I didn't hear anything back so I contacted again. This time they said they cant give me a full refund?!
So I told Brave Salon you cannot go back fourth- it's very unprofessional. So they said yes, they will refund me. Then they contacted me again and said they they cannot refund me cuz I did not pay regular price! WOW! why does it matter what price I paid? Their service SUCKS regardless? Does it mean I paid less and I should receive less quality service?
Do not go here please. DO not support business that has bad morals and want to scam you. Let's spread the words and NOT go here so this salon will be out of business. There are plenty of better salons in NYC..this place cant even speak ENG that well so u r gonna have high chance of being screwed over and thee best part is- THEY WONT be responsibility for any of this.
