This store is one of two Breitling Boutiques in New York City that is staffed with some of the most competent and knowledgeable professionals that really know their stuff, AND AT THE SAME time they are courteous, accommodating and receptive to their customerās needs. My visit two weeks ago, last week and also today, were some of the most memorable experiences I have had in a while, and especially so due to my encounter with Diego, who not only showed me two solid Gold automatic Breitling timepieces, but also answered ALL of my questions and then some!! I was allowed to try on both timepieces while Diego made the whole experience so easy and comfortable. We had such great conversations over the course of an hour that when I left the store I felt that I had gained a lot of insight into the particular timepiece that I was interested in. This helped me IMMENSELY as I was able to make up my mind on exactly which Breitling timepiece I want. The store itself is COMPLETELY STOCKED with every model in the Breitling catalog. These timepieces are displayed in several state-of-the-art showcases. The showcases permit one to view the timepieces directly from the top or the sides and the timepieces themselves are organized in such a manner as to make the viewing experience as simple as possible. To make my point even clearer, I have yet to encounter another store that has better display showcases than either of the two Breitling Boutique stores in Manhattan. The ambience in the store is one of warmth and comfort, with areas designated for guests to relax. Expensive furniture decorated the store, adding a level of both physical and visual comfort only seen in magazines like Town & Country. All this aside, it was the accommodating nature of Diego combined with his vast knowledge of the product at hand that helped complete the Breitling experience. I left the store SO HAPPY I canāt even describe it, because for one, I finally found the watch of my dreams and while in the store Breitling accommodated me on every level while keeping it professional. I sent my watch to Breitling for repair to have the clasp repaired whichĀ was loose, I had this watch fully serviced in 2022. They told me the parts for this watch do not exist anymore, and they tried to sell me a new watch with a discount of $2000. If I took the offer they would engrave on my watch it was not workable. An email was sent to me before the repair person looked at my watch. I called Breitling service in CT severalĀ times. They gave me the runaround. I told them I did not want a new watch, why would I buy an expensive watch if it couldn't be fixed Ā (IT WAS NOT MECHANICAL IT WAS THE CLASP)? I can get 100 year old watch fixed but they can't fix a clasp on a watch onĀ 20 year oldĀ watch? FYI, they did not offer me to buy a new watch band either. It took 6 weeks to get my watch back from Breitling to be sent back to me for pick up in the NYC store. When I picked up my watch the gentleman (Madison Ave Location) that was helping me had the same metal band. Breitling still sells this watch band. I told him what was wrong with my watch, and he shook his head and called another person over they could not believe what happened to me. They told me to take it up theĀ block to get fixed but I went somewhere else. Ā I left the store and I went toĀ Watch Repair & Company atĀ 20 W 47th St. The gentleman fixed my watch in less than 30 seconds and did not charge me. I used to go to the Swiss Watchman on East 42nd Street but he retried. This is my new go-to place for all my watches. It has been over a month and the clasp still stays closed. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been a big fan of Breitling pilot watches since I was about 12 years old. As an aviation buff and a wanna be pilot at that age, I was drawn to the Breitling Navitimer, although all I could do at that age was window shop.
Fast forward a bunch of years and I am fortunate to realize that I was able to fulfill many of my dreams, including becoming a pilot and acquiring a nice collection of Breitling watches.
While my first 3 Breitlings were purchased from different places, I have since become a huge fan of the Breitling Boutique on Madison Ave. in New York when my wife and I stumbled into that store on Valentines Day in 2020. From the moment we entered the store, their flagship boutique, we were greeted with such friendly warmth although we had never been there before. We were shown around the store and viewed many beautiful pieces. Although we stated that we weren't intending to purchase anything, just to look around, we were still treated like long-time friends and were afforded a VIP experience. Then, like magic, I was shown a newly released Navitimer that I loved, and my wife said I should buy it if I liked it so much. Not being a fool, I jumped at the chance, and that started my long-term love affair with that store and its staff.
They are professional, courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and customer-service oriented! They are second to none, and I've developed a strong friendship with many of the staff there, especially Sayeef Kahn and Ali Jouni. When I'm looking to add a new watch to my collection or need a watch serviced, they are my go-to guys.
Needless to say, I strongly endorse and recommend the Breitling Boutique on Madison Ave in New York!
