I started looking at opportunities to get active in order to limit my sedentary lifestyle and supplement my 1-2 pilates classes per week. I currently work as a speech-language pathologist in a school setting and realized I spent most of my days sitting. I took a lot of time to research facilities near me as I have very little experience in the gym-world. I also knew I needed as much hand-holding as possible to limit getting hurt. Based on prior experience, I knew that group sessions worked well for me as having an appointment based kept me accountable.
My coaching team (AKA Coach Miles) has been the biggest reason I continue to attend sessions. He's excellent at building rapport with his clients as demonstrated by his conversations and check-ins with myself and other clients. Coach Miles is excellent with scaffolding and custom tailoring my goals and exercises to my needs. Notably, I have asthma and PCOS, which is a highly important part of my exercise routines. Coach Miles confidently walks the line of pushing me to my best while considering my limits/health needs (even when I'm whining). I'm currently moving onto my third month of individual sessions with Coach Miles and will hopefully graduate to semiprivate soon as I continue to become comfortable!

My main focus has been body recomposition, and Mario does such a great job in tailoring a personalized training plan for me. I’ve always struggled to stay consistent with my work schedule, but his energy, positivity, and thoughtful approach to understanding my specific physical and mental limitations have helped me so much. I really appreciate how he takes the time to listen to me and is always open to modifying my session when asked. I truly believe I’ve been able to reach my body composition goals faster through his guidance.
I first started working out with Mario to get in shape for my wedding two years ago, and I’ve continued training with him ever since because the results are real and his support goes far beyond the workouts. He is endlessly patient, gives great advice on proper form (and I’m particular about form), and brings deep knowledge across many different training styles: kickboxing, weight lifting, calisthenics, etc. His flexibility with scheduling has also been a huge help.
Exercise can generally feel like a chore for me (keepin it real, lol), but Mario’s genuine care keeps me motivated and coming back. I am the kind of person who does not like strength training and need to join a gym to hold myself accountable. I worked with Coach Mario for 3 months. We discussed my goals, likes, dislikes, and made an evolving program. If you are vocal about what you want the coaches will change up your program. For example, I like to keep things interesting by incorporating TRX, sled, and other gym “toys” into my program. Sometimes it takes a few tries, so be patient. It will be worth it when you find the right recipe.
The semi private program works with an app. Your sessions can be fairly independent and you will receive guidance from your coach as needed (form correction, use less or more weight, modifications). Most of the exercises even have a video on the app you can follow. I like this concept because I can drop into the gym at anytime and get started on my workout. I really appreciate the flexibility with respect to scheduling also.
