My day-to-day requires a lot from my body. Whether that be lifting lighting equipment for a film job, to moving and playing drums to weight training, my body can acquire some tension to say the least. I specifically came to Jason because I had been dealing with a lot of tension in my left arm, stemming from the front of my shoulder into my bicep and forearm. It was at a point where the tension was coming up during my drumming during shows. I work on a lot of mindfulness in the body so I can play relaxed and freely, but that wasn't cutting it so I knew I needed to seek out a professional to help get the tensions out of my muscles. Jason, not only a great guy and awesome to talk to throughout our session (great conversation), did just what I needed and more. He released knots and tension in my forearm that I didn't even know were present. My shoulder, bicep and even shoulder blade felt like they could breathe. He also worked a bit on my neck which helped the whole chain from my neck to my left hand. After our session I felt like a weight I'd been carrying on my left side for months was lifted, and I now find it easier to release tension that can unconsciously build when I'm practicing. Jason takes great care in his work and his clients. I highly recommend working with Brooklyn...
Read moreI am a long distance runner training for my second marathon and encountered an IT band injury during speed training. This was pain like I’ve never experienced before. I tried physical therapy and to be honest was still in pain. I followed their directions and even did the exercises at home. There were instances where I would go to PT and leave with pain in a new area. I decided it was time to try a sports massage. I did my research and knew it was not going to be the “feel good” kind of massage. And yes, it was painful but 3 hours after my appointment I felt good as new. Jason is absolutely incredible and finds all the problem areas. I am a bit chatty and like to know what is going on. It doesn’t bother Jason at all. He explains everything he is doing and finding. I recommend starting with a 90 minute session. My biggest mistake was starting with 60 minutes. I went 2 weeks in a row and now will continue 1x monthly for maintenance. For years I did not prioritize recovery correctly. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Go to Jason to help with your recovery journey. I don’t know how I ran like I did before his sports massages. He...

Working from home caused my back and hips to lock up, to the point where I could barely walk or sit comfortably, or even put on socks. Jason worked out all my problem areas, I feel like a brand new person.
Jason's entire process is very thorough and professional, from booking on his website to the massage itself. Upon arrival to my appointment, Jason conducted a 5 minute treatment consultation with me, to understand my pain areas and the possible root causes. He has great bedside manner, and explained all the muscles and their purposes as he was treating me, so I understood exactly what was happening. He was very gentle but firm and effective, and even shared tips for aftercare maintenance. He also is a physical trainer, and suggested exercises to improve my running performance.
You can tell Jason really cares about his patients, and is attentive, kind, and non-judgmental. I will absolutely be...
