MÉXICO 🇲🇽 Eat the World NYC review: Just above the entrance to the 36th Street express station on 4th Avenue, Ines Bakery always has a lot of foot traffic in front and shows itself off only as a place to buy large designer cakes. Examples in the window are for weddings, quinceañeras, and birthdays.Without exception, I have overheard orders for cakes or cupcakes being places and/or finished orders being picked up each time I have eaten here. The bakery is famous in the area and folks from every background use them for their parties. I have heard a man place an order for a bar mitzvah, and last time in a Russian woman was ordering cupcakes for a party the next day. ° That being said, first and foremost in my mind are the great breakfasts at great prices available here. Depending on who is operating the cash register a plate of chilaquiles loaded with meat runs $7 or $8. In addition a nice portion of beans will grace the plate in a puddle of either red or green salsa before being topped with crumbled cheese...

I usually stop here in the morning on my way to work, they have great coffee, and super fresh cream, strawberry, and rice pudding donuts! Definitely the best thing offered here, you will never go back to dd, or kk for donuts...I have tried carrot cake as well, it was just ok. Prices are very inexpensive. If you're going in morning be prepared to wait a little bit as it's very popular and it tends to get a bit crowded. It is open 24/7 though..so you have nothing but time. More recently I have also tried the chocolate flan, traditional flan, and empanada de arroz, All 3 will knock your socks off !!! They also make a fantastic cafe con leche, very smooth. The only downside, it is cash only. Which can be tricky these days. Not many people carry cash on them. But I assume that's how they're able to keep their prices so low ....

Horrible experience! The red hair lady made a mistake and gave us the wrong food. We get home and see that the food is incorrect. We call and they tell us our food is at the store, mind you it's been over 15 minutes and the food isn't hot anymore. We ask to have the food remade since it's not hot anymore by the time we get back to the store and back home. Their response is "We will throw it back on the fryer to reheat". That is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. double cooked food???? We took back the food that was incorrectly given to us. They even overcharged us!! We asked for our money back and they take too long and make me wait even more time before I can get my money back. Worst experience. I had previously had a horrible experience with them before and thought about giving them a second chance. Clearly this place has not...

Friendly and helpful staff, delicious food, great variety of pastries at very reasonable and affordable prices. This is how my review COULD sound. Before today's purchase of a VERY OLD AND EXPIRED chocolate cheesecake. Look at the photos. How long does the cake have to stand on the display for the paint from the package to soak into the cake? I asked if it was good... and they sold it to me. Is it because I'm not Hispanic??? A strange attitude towards a client who came before this incident 2 or 3 times a week and paid his money. Good luck without me. My advice is stay away or don't be fooled at least

I ordered a tres leche cake everyone loved it even though the name in cake was spelled incorrectly I said Barbara I got BAVARA. My sis still loved it so I was happy. . The only thing I must say the girls that were there are nice but they take a long time to service the customers. I went at 6:15am and had to wait 10 minutes just to get serviced. If they can work on that part great place to go. It smells amazing in there with all the pastries.
