Bushwick Pool — Local services in New York

I am heavily pregnant and I only wanted to sit by the pool with my friend and her 3 month old baby they told me I can’t even sit down next to my friend cause I was not wearing all white clothes when no one else in the place was wearing all white clothes....is it cause I am Goth and Asian? I was wearing this long black dress with a bikini underneath but I was not gonna swim!!!!!!! Plus I don’t own anything all white! They should specify somewhere their rules which btw I tried to find somewhere online and never saw (ANYTHING SPECIFYING YOU HAVE TO WEAR ALL WHITE CLOTHES) before making you come here and being all weird about all white clothes. And let me tell you everybody here was wearing all colors and not a single person was wearing ALL WHITE clothes. Also, you are not allowed to pass with anything but your swimsuit and need a lock to get in. Don’t waste your time or think is gonna be a nice day next to the pool with your family. No phones allowed No water allowed No black clothes allowed lol No nothing allowed

I felt like they didn’t want me there cause I am not black. At least they didn’t call the cops lol

We went on a Tuesday at 4:30 pm and it was a little crowded but no line to get in. The pool is small and I think 3 feet deep all around. There was a little kiddie pool a few feet away fenced off. The 2 life guards were really watching and made sure the kids weren't horsing around too much. Ladies locker room was big with plenty of lockers. I got a parking spot on the street about a half block away but it seems like parking may be kind of hard to get around here. Unfortunately 10 min in someone vomited in the pool so they closed it for 30 min for clean up and we decided to leave. The ppl at the pool were nice, some grandmas with the grandkids on a hot afternoon, and there were a lot of pool staff if you needed help with anything. Make sure to bring a lock...

Staff is great. Rules so severe though. I went with my 4 &1 year old. They kept ready the Big pool,when i tryied to use the small one, was closed, the staff then took care of It and opened for us.thanks a lot for that. They dont allow any kind of strollers inside, but if you are going with a baby its a need not a whim. They do not allow any kind of toys either, and they closed the pool atte 230 and reopened about 4.....the lockers are todo small for a backpack.and thw swimming class which was supposed to last 30...
