Five Stars – Exceptional Staff, Incredible Support!
I’ve been coming to Crunch Tribeca for over a year now, and this experience just reinforced why it’s my favorite gym. Huge shoutout to Christian and Erin for going above and beyond when I found myself in a stressful situation. My AirPods case somehow ended up in someone else’s locker, and I spent 30 minutes running around trying to figure out what to do. Thanks to the Find My app, I was able to confirm where they were, but I wasn’t sure how to proceed.
Christian and Erin were absolute pros—calm, reassuring, and with a clear plan to help me sort things out. What really stood out was their dedication. Even after the manager’s shift had ended, they still reached out to get approval to break the lock if needed. Thankfully, I was able to catch the person as they were grabbing their things, played the sound again, and got my AirPods back—crisis averted!
I don’t want to assume anything about how they ended up there, but what I do know is that the staff at Crunch Tribeca is next level. The professionalism, attentiveness, and willingness to go the extra mile make this gym truly stand out. Huge thanks to Christian and Erin—Crunch is lucky...
Read moreI have been a member of Crunch for 19 years, so one may say I'm prejudiced in its favor. I say this because gym experience is a subjective one, with some people emphasizing the locker room amenities, others, the quality of the machines, yet others, their interactions with staff members. I have been a group fitness student in most of Crunch locations and definitely feel at home in any of them. Locker rooms aren't luxurious but you have lots of clean towels, shampoo, conditioner in the shower stalls, and lotion and mouth wash by the sinks, as well as magnifying mirrors, blow dryers and things like q-tips and cotton balls. You can use any available locker with your own lock or rent one from Crunch. There is a variety of excellent classes to pick from. The music playing inside the gym may get loud or not be to your liking but then, it's a miniscule inconvenience in my opinion. The only real negative for me is that prices keep going up every year, so paying for your membership up-front for 2 years, and asking for a few months as a reward is how you can save a lot of money because even if the rates go up during the 2 years of your existing contract, it...
Read moreFacilities were good. No complaints. I just don't like how they do business. I went there to do one day pass and the lady who showed me around persuaded me join the club because they were offering promotion. I told her I needed to check another gym before I made a decision. She compared the membership fees and said Tribeca is cheaper because of the promotion. She also said she didn't know if the other gym was offering the same promotion. I learned it was so obvious all the crunch fitness centers offered the same promotion because I found it on the first page of the website. It is impossible she didn’t know that. As I wanted to check another branch, she kept asking me to join all gym access membership, which is more expensive. She also said the other gym is lower tier than Tribeca one. I checked the gym yesterday and found out it was newer, cleaner, and much more spacious. I decided to join the other one. I think each branch compete each other or employees get commission or something when they bring people. But, I was really upset after I did little bit research and found out she lied to me. Hope this doesn't...
