CubeSmart Self Storage of Flushing — Local services in New York

I went today , 9/24, and waited on line. When it was my turn, J. Wang, showed me the unit. Then he started the paperwork. Then, all of a sudden he said he made a mistake and gave me the wrong unit and will change it. I said, it is fine. Instead of helping me and finish my paperwork, HE STARTED TO HELP THE NEXT ONE IN LINE, then asked someone to help me. I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MY TURN AGAIN. Then, when I saw the other unit, he was helping the 3rd person in line behind me before instead of taking care of me! I told him we were first and rushing because my sister is leaving for New Zealand and my brother to London in few hours, plus my niece, with her 2 small kids were waiting in the car, plus my elderly mother were waiting! Then, he was on the phone helping the 3rd person in line. My sister came down from the car and started to complain and he finally told the person in line that we were there first!!!! AND MY SISTER TOLD ME, JUST GO AND DON't GO HERE ANYMORE! VERY VERY BAD SERVICE! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!

It is now 4/10/18. I would like to add additional information. The other manager, i forgot the name, called me right away after I left that review in September and gave me, a month free, and he left me message apologizing for the situation.

I also don’t need the storage now, so my account is cancelled and they gave me immediate refund for the month that I did not use.

I waited until I moved out to leave this review because the white manager there is good for charging my account for any little thing after storing with this store for almost two years and management changed I knew that it was my time to leave I tried referring a friend and when I took him here the lady that bragged and emphasized that she is the senior manager of this store told us that we must wait for one of her colleagues to finish showing another customer I did not understand why when the colleague came down she looked annoyed as if this is something that happens often when I need assistance with code or anything at all she tells me to wait and have one of her store managers assist me I wait about 20 minutes everytime because she does not help customers when I moved out I had to wait as well this store needs better management especially a new senior manager since this one is very lazy and does not like to work not to mention she is never available and she is always running about and doing nothing with her tenants when she should be in the office working I give praise to the 2 young ladies there that run around like headless chickens to make sure their customers are...

Booked via the website and a confirmation call. When we arrived and looked at the unit (a 5x5x4 small unit) it turned out to be 9ft in the air above a full sized unit! Access was via a ladder and it wasn't going to work at all for our needs. I was very disappointed at the time as we were told of the unusual location when booking and wouldn't have taken the unit if we'd known.

However our rep, Eternia went the extra mile to find us a similar sized unit but at chest height, so we could easilly load and unload out items. She even gave it to us at the original price! All the staff I talked to onsite were very friendly and helpfull.

The building has great security and is very clean and tidy as you would expect, but what stood out was the amazing customer service to resolve a problem. Youy only find out how good a company is when something goes wrong and I can't recommend this one enough, first class!
