At the Skyview parking lot, when you spend $40 or more at Skyfood, you get free parking for 3 hours. I believe it's the same when you spend $60 to $70 at BJ's.
Today, my mother-in-law and I went to Flushing and parked the car at the Skyview parking lotļ¼At 12:20pmļ¼. I went to run some errands, and she went to buy groceries. I gave her the parking ticket. Later, after she finished shopping at Skyview's Skyfood ($83), she found that she had lost the parking ticket. The cashier told her that she could go to the parking lot staff, tell them the license plate number, get a new parking ticket, and then come back to the supermarket to get it stamped. She called me to tell me she lost the ticket and asked me to speak to the staff. I told them my license plate number, and they said it was okay and that they would let us out when we left.
When we left (3:40 pm), we went to the left payment lane and encountered a Mexican female staff member around 50 years old. I showed her the supermarket receipt and told her that we had lost the parking ticket. She looked annoyed and pointed at the price board, saying we had to pay $24. I explained that I had spoken to another staff member earlier who said they would let us go. She impatiently pointed at the price board again and said that losing the ticket costs $24. I reiterated what the previous staff member had told me. She begrudgingly went to the office to check and then came back with a sour face, telling me to back up the car and asked me : āthen why you come to my line?you should go to the middle lane.ā I explained that it was my first time losing a parking ticket, then I moved to the middle lane and prepared to pay the $8 parking fee.
At that moment, she shouted at me, "I remember you! You've done this several times!" I replied, "It's not me; this is my first time losing a parking ticket!" She insisted, "It's you! This is the third time. I have a good memory!" I got very angry and shouted back, "Watch your language! The person you're talking about is not me! You can check the surveillance!" She kept insisting, "It's you! I remember very clearly." I said, "Are you blind? Watch your language!" She kept muttering, "It's you!" If I hadn't been in a hurry to get home, I would have gotten out to argue with her. My mother-in-law felt very guilty about losing the parking ticket, and I told her it's not like we weren't going to pay. I hate being falsely accused! Since we moved, we rarely go to Flushing unless necessary.
Every time we go to Flushing, I park at the Skyview parking lot. I've never lost a parking ticket before, but today my mother-in-law accidentally lost it. The parking is good overall, but so far I've only encountered one staff member here who...

Horrid parking lot. Had several times where the car is stuck at the exit and I had to get an employee to let me through because the reader wouldn't recognize the monthly pass and when talking to the employees they claim it's either 1) the readers not working well in the winter and they have no intention to fix it, you just had to leave your car RIGHT WHEN YOU ARE AT THE EXIT and bother an employee to get them to let you leave the parking lot or 2) deflect and say because I misplaced my monthly card and went in the parking lot pulling a ticket once suddenly that renders all the times the exit wouldn't recognize my car meaningless.
Upper management prefers to accuse me of somehow flying into the parking lot bypassing the machines every time rather than addressing how I consistently couldn't leave the parking lot because of faulty machine readings.
The machine also stops recognizing your car when you do not leave the parking lot for a while which is super cool, leaving you stuck at the exit once again. Good luck if you are stuck and there are no employees sitting in the small room next to the exit.
Additionally, I have had a swastika drawn on my car while parked here. It's not particularly safe, there are people loitering on some of the floors, and it smells of pee all the time.
Normal parking review:
They sometimes charge $17 if you leave the parking lot even if you were there for an hour, claiming that it's a special event price. Except they don't put up signs saying there's a new price lol, even though they claim they do. It's easy enough to dispute but awful. Pay machines on many of the floors often don't work so you have to pay upon exiting, which opens you up to the random upcharge (and holding...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst time here. I drove in, got a ticket from the machine. Not knowing where anything was we ended up on the 4th floor only to find BJs was at the bottom. After shopping at BJs with the $75 minimum well over $100. I went to the 2nd Floor pay booth and showed the guy my ticket. He said you give it to the guy going out. Went to the Cashier line in my car and dude was like $4. I'm like we bought stuff it should be free. He was like there's no stub or something. Anyways we paid the $4 but that is so salty because parking should had been free for us otherwise we would had went to the usual one we go to at Metropolitan. Unless there's some secret way we're suppose to validate the parking I don't know what to say. I passed the receipt to show the guy, he should had waved us through. Is $4 worth a 1 star review? No not completely but given the fact that the staff there are slow to respond, The one guy was on the phone inside just talking not acknowledging someone at the window shows lack of care. almost all the machines all have papers saying not working. I think that overall warrants this poor star review.
On our way trying to find the way out cops inside doing high speed pit maneuvers trying to catch...
