Just bought four fabulous dresses at Daryl’s for various events and I can’t be more satisfied. Really there was a fifth that was fabulously chic but my pocketbook told me no. Every time I go there I come away with something that I never would have bought while browsing online or digging through the racks in any of the NYC dept stores. Daryl is helpful without being pushy and makes excellent suggestions.

One last important benefit: his clothing fits women of any age but ALSO women of a certain age who are looking for style without necessarily revealing various parts of our bodies that a few decades before we would have been happy to flaunt.

We had a fantastic experience at Daryl's today. I had read nice reviews so we decided to try out the shop on our quick trip to NYC. I was not disappointed. The service is excellent, not pushy at all but very attentive. Daryl himself was there and found a dress for me to try that was a little outside my normal comfort zone (it had a pattern! not black or grey!) and I just loved it. It fits perfectly, and was reduced. The other sales person (I forgot to ask her name but she was so friendly and helpful) found me so many cute things that I had to eliminate to stay inside my budget. Shopping for clothing is not my favorite way to spend time. However, Darryl’s is always a rewarding experience. I’ve been shopping in this neighborhood boutique since the early 90’s. I needed a dress for a special occasion and that was the beginning of my “love affair” with this shop. Darryl and his staff are always helpful and pleasant. I never walk out with just the one thing that I went in for. He has an eye for fashion that is not only current, but well constructed and timeless, and suitable for a large range of clientele.
