I am from out of town and stumbled upon this nail shop around the corner from my hotel. I was told over the phone one price and then was told another when I sat down ( $5 more). I don’t mind dip but the tips look horrible. Secondly I asked for almond shape and none of the nail shapes are done correctly. Some are more rounder than others, some are a little square on the sides. Has a lot of bubbles and bumps I noticed afterwards that she tried to paint over with glitter 🤦🏽♀️
Anyways, once she was done (1.5 hours later… which is seriously a long time just for dip extensions - short length), she quoted me another $5 more. I was confused but she said due to white tip it was more. Okay whatever, I said white tip over the phone and when I got there so not sure why afterwards it was ANOTHER $5. But, I needed to leave and wasn’t going to argue. It would just be taken from her tip. So I got my change back after paying and was FORCED to pay 20% tip. You cannot force anyone to tip according to how you see it. It’s the customers decision. She did not deserve an extra $16 for a lousy job. But again I had a wedding to attend, I was already running behind from being there all that time. So I paid and left but I wanted to make sure I warn others about this place…
$96 is not worth the nails I got. I should’ve considered the other nail shops in the area and you should too… I do...
Read moreI’ve been going here for four years. I typically get a gel manicure and regular pedicure. They used to be good to me and I was always great to them (usually leave a $20 tip for a $65 service!!). Lately, their gel manicures have not been lasting me more than a week. So on Thursday night I went for a gel mani/reg pedi and by Monday morning the entire gel polish on 9 out of my 10 nails had chipped COMPLETELY. I went in today to get the same color redone with the same color, to fix their issue. I was NOT greeted with the typical warmth. The woman who did my gel finished in under 15 mins. My polish is extremely thick on some nails, streaky on other nails, the nails that broke due to the color chipping off, she filed slanted. She got polish on my skin and cuticles. As I was leaving I was told she won’t charge me (as if they’re doing me a favor?) but I was TOLD to tip. I tipped for the woman’s time. Once I walked into the sunlight and saw just how bad my nails looked, I walked right back in and showed it to them. Not even an apology. I will NEVER be back. Avoid them at all costs. Their gel machines and polishes are outdated and do not last and their customer service clearly lacks when it pertains to them fixing their...
Read moreListen up. Every salon w more than 3 stars in a 3 block radius is $35/+ for a mani-pedi, and a few are open past 7, which was my criteria tonight.
This place is tiny and not so shiny but the service was efficient without making me feel rushed. They have a wide range of colors and offer some various upgrades to pedicures and some waxing services.
My nails look great. I got upsold into a 10 min massage ($12) and a quick dry coat ($1) and I have 0 regrets about that massage - there was warm oil (optional) and I was so relaxed and my eyes were closed and it felt so good that I nearly could've been at the Four Seasons in Hawaii and I wouldn't have known the difference. The massage was followed by a hot towel rubdown too which was added to the time, complimentary.
They do gel, SNS dip, 10 day polish, and tips, too. Towels were a little tired. They refilled my water so much I had to pee. I really felt like they were taking care of me at every turn, picking out additional colors or preparing saran wrap for my toes or passing me a tissue when I sneezed.
10/10 would go again - ideal no frills where you can totally deny the upsells or indulge...
