Exemplary Service Above and Beyond ā A Rare Gem in Manhattan
I want to take a moment to recognize the exceptional professionalism and dedication of Boris, the manager at Chirpās 2nd Avenue location. In an era where customer service often feels rushed or impersonalāespecially in a fast-paced city like ManhattanāBoris demonstrated what true commitment to excellence look like.
Our office had placed a large group order for 25 people through a third-party delivery platform. Due to a technical glitch, the order was never transmitted to the restaurant. We only discovered this after I called Chirp to check on the delay.
At that moment, Boris could have simply explained the situation, apologized, and moved onāwhich would have been entirely understandable. Instead, he immediately took ownership of the issue, even though it was not his fault, and told us, āI will take care of this for you.ā
True to his word, Boris and his team swiftly prepared the full orderāan undertaking that undoubtedly disrupted their normal operations. Not only that, he personally delivered the food to our office, ensuring that our team event wasnāt derailed. Our meals arrived hot, delicious, and everyone was happy.
This level of service is incredibly rare and deserves to be recognized. Boris didnāt just solve a problemāhe turned a potential disaster into a moment of gratitude. His actions reflect a commitment to customer satisfaction that is all too uncommon today.
Thank you, Boris, for your integrity and kindness. Youāve earned loyal customers, and weāll be sharing this story with others as an example of what great service...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhere to start with this place? Letās start with the cashier. She was rude, not knowledgeable, and could not answer the most basic questions about their food. The only highlight was the rotisserie chicken that was well cooked. It quickly went downhill from there. The beans were undercooked, the rice was sticky, and the rest of our meal was underwhelming. We left a 20% tip for the cashier, yet she refused to the clean the table because she claimed that she was a cashier and not a waitress even though she happily took the tip. She yelled at our party as we got up to leave and ordered us to bus our table. Earlier she wouldnāt even give my husband a 4th fork. The girl has no class. Iāve had better servers at Taco Bell. The owners should fire this woman. She got into a yelling match with my 75 yr old mother. She is a disgrace to the chirp brand. I will look up the owner and report her directly. Our awful dinner was on Aug-7-2023 at...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been a loyal customer at the Chirp location for a while, and I order from there literally every day. But I need to call out a truly frustrating issue that happens only at this particular branch when I order through Uber Eats. Unlike any other location of theirs, they refuse to let me have my chicken boneless unless I order it in a specific bowl or with rice. It makes no sense. When Iām physically at the restaurant, they do it for me without a problem. But through Uber Eats, if I call to clarify that I want boneless chicken, I keep being told itās not possible.
Itās honestly ridiculous that I have to order my chicken in a certain way just to get it boneless. And it seems to be the same employee every time who refuses to accommodate this simple request. This doesnāt happen at any other Chirp location and never in person, only here!! and only through delivery. Itās just absurd. Please address this because it really ruins...
