Ebenezer Eyelash Extension — Local services in New York

I will begin by saying that the staff is very friendly and very welcoming as you enter the building. I have been getting my lashes done for 4 years. I like my lashes full and long. I know the product, glue, and size of the lashes I prefer. I am a travel nurse which means I travel all over the US. I'm used to trying to new places and new product. I thought wow a place in New York City has to be amazing! Sadly, my lashes are horrible. I asked the ladies st Ebenezer if they had the product I was requesting before the application took place. They said yes no problem !! My lashes have never looked worse. One eye looks completely different. The lashes they use are hard so so hard and do not feel natural. They technician may have been new. Some lashes were not put on correctly and seem to have a mind of their own. Before she began I AGAIN asked do you have the size, length and curl? She said YES!!

Before writing this review I attempted to call Ebenezer to possibly fix the problem. Maybe there would be someone more experienced who can help. Instead, they told me to come in and pay for a fill. The girl on the phone also said that she told me they didn't have the type of lashes I wanted and that I had to use some kind of coding???? Or mascara to make them thick?? What???? Again 4 years... never heard of this. Also this conversation did not happen.

All I'm saying ladies. Your lashes should feel soft and natural. They should not feel like shards of plastic hanging from your eyes. I'm disappointed in myself for not asking more questions. I assumed when they assessed my lashes and when I told them what I wanted it was settled. Because normally if someone can't make you happy or accommodate you, they would tell you.

Do research. Do not go here. There has to be better places...

I will give this place 5 star... this place is wonderful. I did bottom and top and it looks beautiful. Also the employees are very profesional and super friendly . That’s very important to me. I really recommend this place ... you won’t regret it

I have a long time coming to this place. But the last few weeks I have complained since my eyelashes are falling very fast and the volume and shape is not the same. So far there is only one person who has done extremely well. The service lasted two hours but it was worth it. Natalie is the best for me. But She only works Wednesday and Thursday. Yesterday I went for a touch up and today I already lost about 10 lashes. The shape wasn't right and neither was the volume. I also do not like that the chinese front lady speaks in her language with the technician, it is a lack of ethics. I don't know what she says, and the lashes are definitely not like last time. I prefer to paid the full price no discount at all rather than 1rush hour service. Natalie lasted two hours for the gorgeous hybrid service and it was worth she took her time.I'll start looking for another place.

My friend and I decided to get eyelash extensions for the first time this past week. We are both in college and could not afford the average price of about $150. My friend found Ebenezer's and they had great reviews and were very reasonably priced. We decided to give them a go and I'm glad we did! We came in from Jersey and there was a lot of traffic the day we went and were late for our appointment. We called to let them know and the lady on the phone was very understanding and told us to not worry about it. Once we got there, the ENTIRE staff was beyond helpful and kind. Since we were first timers, we needed to the run down on everything and we got it. We showed them pictures of what we wanted and got exactly that. They also give you hand/arm and foot/leg rubs while the technician does her work. The place is clean and adorable and conveniently located (7th Ave). Once again, very reasonably priced compared to other places in and around the city. My friend and I will definitely be making another appointment in the near...
