This was my first and last time ever visiting this salon. I would have had more respect for administrative staff and the nail techs if they operated with integrity and told me to reschedule for another time earlier in the day rather than allow greed to overcome their judgment and tell me they were able to perform the service requested. I will take accountability on my part and say that perhaps showing up a half hour before closing and expecting a dip powder full set to be done correctly was a bit too high of an expectation. I came into the salon immediately after work having called in prior confirming that they would be able to do a dip powder full set and confirmed the price. I immediately realized something was wrong when two techs assigned to work on each hand were filing down my nail rather than soaking off the original dip powder color that was on my nail. If this was an acrylic fill in this would be acceptable procedure but because I asked for and was being charged for and a full set I didn't agree with what they had decided on doing without consulting me. I asked about why they were not following the correct process of removing the old powder polish before adding a new color. The tech basically retorted that there wasn't much time to completely soak off the old powder and that they were just going to cover it with the new color after filing it down to where the line of demarcation between my nail bed and where the previous powder had slid down was barely visible. Although I did not agree with the decision for the sake of not having to walk around with flawed nails I complied. Again due them being pressed for time and wanting to close shop. I was approached by the administrative staff who urged me to pay for the service before the work was completed and provide a tip on my card. She took it upon herself to collect payment method from my purse and asked that I pay a fee for soaking off the original dip powder color. Politely I declined and explained that the techs did not soak of the old color due to lack of time. Upon hearing that I was debating the charge the tech cut me off then proceeded to tell admin no that they had soaked off the color and that the fee needed to be charged. It was at that moment when I regretted coming to the salon. I would have been better off with the going to my usual salon, rather than allow myself to be defrauded by the administrative staff and the nail techs at this salon. With all the cameras in that salon im sure the truth will be revealed about whether they really performed the task they were hired to do. In all honesty, I encourage anyone who wants to their dip powder manicure done correctly, regardless the time of day, and charged a fair price to...
Read moreUnfortunately I did not have a great experience at this salon. The woman doing my nails left my existing SNS to soak for about 1-2 min and then kept taking them off and putting them back on over and over again for 1-2 min rather than leaving them to properly soak. When she finally started on my nails there was still leftover SNS from before which she picked at with her nail.
She could not figure out how to shape my nails in a normal almond shape (pretty stock standard) and kept filing them down until two of them were distinctly shorter than the rest. I wanted exactly the same shape I already had so that shouldn’t have been hard. I also showed her pictures. She asked twice if I wanted square… she still never got it and they look very awkward.
She cut two of my finger to the point that they bled.
She did a good job on the color itself but I was pretty disappointed overall especially considering this place is more expensive than some others for SNS in the area.
Just to add as well… in the hour and a half I was there, 2-3 other people came in and were rudely turned away by another staff member. One was told No walk ins, another was told they would not touch up/fill in just one finger. Odd to turn away business when you have...

Not one to leave a review often but was very inclined to as this was the worst nail salon I have ever been to. I went in last week to get dip powder on my natural nails. I was told one price and then at checkout she said it was actually more and that she made a mistake. I liked the look of the nails so of course paid and tipped very well and left.
Within 48 hours, the dip was began to crack and chip off. I have been getting dip at other places for years and have never had dip chip. I am new to NY so tried this salon. I kindly went back since it had only been 48 hours and multiple nails had been cracked and chipped. I asked if since it was 2 days they could fix the nails and the same lady who had done my nails said they would charge me for reach nail. Keep in mind this was 48 hours and just dip on my natural nails it should not have been chipping. She then proceeded to tell me that I must have picked up something heavy so they all started chipping off.
I said this has never happened before in 48 hours and that was not the case. For paying over $80 for dip powder on my natural nails this place is terrible. Dip chips within 48 hours and the service...
