Formula Motorsports has been servicing my 991 911CS Cabriolet since 2014 for all the Porsche recommended service intervals and has included tire installations, OEM rim replacement, spark plugs & tune, air filters, oil changes, air bag sensor troubleshoot and most recently full brake pads and rotors at 39K. Typically, I deal with Michael who is extremely knowledgeable, honest, and who provides a reliable estimate up front for service costs. Their shop, minutes outside of Manhattan, provides only Porsche services and have been part of the Porsche community since the sixties, possibly prior. The shop which is impeccably clean, meticulously arranged, and has some of the rarest Porsches depending on the service list for the week. The pick up and drop off arrangements have always been seamless where you can schedule an appointment to drop off the car in the early morning and it's ready by the end of the day for pick up. My most recent trip included a special treat where I was able to meet the founder Mark who has a true lifetime passion for Porsche. I could have sat there for hours with him as we discussed his Porsche racing history at the most respected tracks worldwide, racing prototypes, favorite tracks, tires, driver experience, etc. I can go on forever, but I was particularly fascinated with his history and knowledge of the Bridgehampton Raceway on Long Island along with the fun fact that he had to avoid deer when racing. Built a very quick relationship with formula motorsports and Michael personally. I am writing this review for him based on the stellar service I received there. I own a 2014 Cayenne Turbo and brought my car in for it's first service and bodywork. All the staff were professional, helpful, and gave me constant email updates with pictures over the 4 days the whole repair took. After spending some time there during the day just checking out the cars I happened to see a quite terrible set of circumstances arise with another client due to no cause of the shop. I was more than happy to leave a review after this person tried to tarnish their name. Michael and his team went above and beyond to assist a disrespectful client who was very upset he needed to wait for service without an appointment. I made mine 1 week in advance as one would expect in New York City. Fortunately he kept his cool and went by the book on client relations. They are all professionals and happen to do great work. Michael gave me all of the service prices up front and bill was accurate. People need to understand that good service is hard to come by.
