June 2025: Updates! woke up craving Ghaya so i ordered via doordash (a french toast a cream cheese cruffin and a hazelnut croissant) ---- best brunch!!!!!!! the french toast arrived warm and perfect and same for the pastries, ghaya its just fenomenal.

March 2025: I finally physically made it to ghaya!!!!!!! its so coozy and it delicious as always! i had the avocado toast w a poached egg (its the best) with a turmeric latte (perfect amount of sweetness) plus lots of pastries to go! check it out! you will never regret it. My favs are: Chocolate hazelnut, pistachio croissant and Pain au chocolate

Ghaya was my go to in their old location - i was heart broken πŸ’” when they closed but the happiest πŸ’–πŸ’– when they reopened! I havent been there physically (I will soon) but i just ordered some goodies through doordash and everything tastes as good as i remembered!!! Hugeeee fan over here! ❀️‍πŸ”₯❀️‍πŸ”₯❀️‍πŸ”₯ Ghaya! Me and my wife’s favorite breakfast spot - was a regular at the old location at JackXCo when we lived next to it, and was so sad that they closed down as we’d still trek from our new apartment in Dutch Kills just for breakfast.

Long and behold, as fate would have it, they opened literally next door to us, and couldn’t be happier. Some of the best baked pastries and breakfast options in the whole city - everything Ghaya makes is amazing, but my standouts are the delicious croissants, my favorite yoghurt granola bowl in the world, and a super tasty Shakshuka.

Overall a much needed and perfect addition to the...

Stopped by this cafe to get some caffeine since it was near a dog playground I was taking my pup to. It’s a small cafe and only has one table at the front, a bar stool area on the side and a table outside. Grabbed a small iced coffee and a warm croissant. Staff were very friendly and let my pup come inside while I was ordering even when they had a sign that said no pets (only service animals). Enjoyed my iced coffee and the croissant (which my pup also agreed on). Lots of pastry options and breakfast/sandwich...

What a find, I'm so glad I found Ghaya! This is a great cafe in Astoria with friendly staff and wonderful food. I really enjoyed the shakshuka; it was well-spiced with a flavorful tomato base and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The avocado smash is another great choice. The drinks were also delicious. The chai latte and the spiced golden latte are perfect for a hot summer day. This place delivers on all fronts: great food, unique drinks, and a friendly environment. Looking forward to dropping by again!

Best pastries in LIC!!! I was so sad when Ghaya closed at Jacx & Co. The new location is worth the walk. Familiar items are all back like my beloved coconut blueberry dulce de leche muffin and the ham & cheese croissant, and there seem to be some new treasures as well. There is limited seating indoors and outdoors but hopefully will be more outdoor seating soon. Such a talented and lovely couple that runs this wonderful local business. Go support them and do your tastebuds a favor.
