This place used to be great for fresh poultry, but not anymore. I was really disappointed by my recent experience buying chicken feet ,I was charged $5.75 per pound (frozen), while the in-store price for fresh chicken feet was only $1.89.
When I asked around, a friend who shops here often mentioned that some customers especially non-Chinese speakers , are sometimes charged higher prices if they don’t question it or mention the local rate. That’s unacceptable.
Also, be cautious if you notice there’s no price tag , it feels like they decide the price based on who you are. The frozen chicken feet looked old, with freezer burn and lots of ice, which you end up paying for by weight.
It’s really disappointing to see a once-trusted store lose its integrity. I hope management takes this seriously and ensures fair, transparent pricing for everyone. Respect and honesty are what keep loyal customers...
Read moreOMG. Where have I been all of these 6 years living in NYC? I needed some specialty meat for a pho dish and stumbled upon this place. My first reaction was wow. Their meat selection and customer service is 100000000%. On top of that their prices are appropriately priced.
Should you also just want a good cooked meal of about any meat you can find go here. I was t able to try any because I was cooking that evening for the week, but I will make this my produce store as well lunch when I want some good pineapple and duck or chicken.
