I found an article online on the Geng & Associates website that advocated a legal solution that I thought was not allowed by courts. After doing some additional research into previous rulings, the wording of the relevant laws, and articles from other firms, I discovered that Geng's position was indeed well-supported. My own attorney disagreed, but the info he shared to support his point was different from my situation in some important details. I decided to call Geng's offices to get some more details from the source of the article. There was a consultation charge, which I am often reluctant to pay, but there is a lot of money at stake in this matter and something told me it would be worth rolling the dice on paying a small fee to Geng.
