Beautiful spot in New York, but unfortunately the staff was really unhelpful. I went there with my boyfriend and we wanted to buy something. Unfortunately, the way the store works is that you have to tell an employee what products you want to check out. Every single time me or my boyfriend tried to get a staff members attention, they would walk in the other direction. Not sure if the staff werenāt happy to see a man in the store or they were simply ignoring us. Thatās one thing, but there were multiple employees just standing at the front doing literally nothing & the store wasnāt overly crowded for a Thursday. We even saw the employees going up to many other customers asking them if they needed help, yet we were never approached in the store. It sucks because I really wanted a product they donāt sell at Sephora. I guess Iāll just buy it online. I was directed to the pickup window and asked Marlowe for my order. They kindly informed me the order was actually at the other store and on the off chance I asked if there was any way to exchange the order since the item I bought was on sale when I made the purchase, but not on sale anymore the day of pickup. They called over the person who had helped me at the front doorāI wish I had a name; on the short side, long curly brown hair, glasses, cherubic faceāand between the two of them they found a way to make sure I still got the product I wanted without having to change prices or travel to SoHo. Iām so thankful that Madison was the one who helped me and took the time to patiently and expertly answer all my questions. She was beyond knowledgeable about all the products and what would work with my skin type, etc. also so friendly and welcoming.
