Saint Tuesday — Restaurant in New York

I went in for drinks on December 23rd, 2022 with a large group of people around 10pm. We all sat down at a table and there was a candle behind me and my HAIR caught on FIRE. Luckily my partner was next to me and dumped a few glasses of water on me. Many patrons in the bar were staring at me, one even came up to me and gave me napkins as I was pulling out my hair (I have an afro). It was a whole scene. Not one person from Saint Tuesday, nary a bartender, waiter, host, security, or manager came up to me ever to see how I was doing, yet everyone was watching me crying in tears. I tried to reach out to Saint Tuesday but there is no phone number listed anywhere. I have filled out a contact form a few times, and no one has gotten back to me. I've reached out on instagram messenger, again no answer. I am not looking to take any legal action, I would love to be treated as a human and receive a response, and apology and at the very least reimburse me for my haircut. I'd take a free bar tab too! Drinks and ambiance are great. Service is bad tho and it is a real bummer. I had friends from out of state visiting and we had just left an incredible theater show and were riding on a high. I wanted to continue the good vibes and chose Saint Tuesday for its unique venue and ambiance.

Server clearly forgot to put our drink order in. From the time we sat to the time the drink arrived it was about 50 minutes. I even got up and asked about the drinks and was met with rudeness. She completely forgot to put our food order in as well and we were starving. It killed the mood for us and it was getting late so we decided to leave to try and get food elsewhere before kitchens closed. All in all it was 1.5 hours for one cocktail.

When the check came we spoke to the manager who didn’t offer us any sort of comp to our bill for the inconvenience and even blamed our food not coming out due to a “technical difficulty” when he was aware the server just forgot.

Super bummed but it left such a bad taste in my mouth I don’t think...
