When we came to get our car out of the garage, they drove our car out and forgot to leave the remote start key fob in the car. The only reason why the car was still running was because we had an extra key in our bag however, the original key that was left in the car when we parked, was no where in sight. We searched the entire car and even left without any key fob inside and the car would not start, indicating that they did not leave our key in the car.
While the car was parked in the garage, we came back at least 3 times to get things from the car and specifically saw the the employees unlocking the car with the key fob from the booth. We made a claim for damages however the manager did not accept liability because they claim they never take the key out of push to start cars even though as stated earlier, we saw them unlock the car from the booth multiple times.
When we called the manager back an hour later after realizing the original key was not in the car, he repeatedly said “we do not have the key” without even asking any other employees. He even started laughing at one point when I asked him to ask his employees and just said that they are busy at the moment. I left them my number and never even received a call back letting us know if any other employees forgot to leave the key when they drove our car out.
We paid $130 for just over 24 hours and for them to forget to leave a $250 key fob back in our car is irresponsible, unprofessional, and just sloppy.
