Worst babershop experience

So I'm growing my hair out, and I came in to get my back and sideburns trimmed as I had a wedding that weekend, and to not touch any other hair . I get that this is an unusual request, but its not hard to do. I sit down, and immediately the barber says he wants to cut my hair half an inch. I tell him no, to which he says that my hair has no style and he should cut it. I tell him I just worked 8 hours and its humid, so of course my hair is messy. I repeat what I initially told him. He trims my hair, the entire time telling me very passive aggressively that he'll just do what I want. In the end, he does what I want, not before getting in one last remark about how this is what I wanted and he basically did nothing, to which i tell him thats fine. Finally, as if it wasn't enough, he charges me $40...

Awful awful awful. The owner told me they do kids cuts. They do not.

They sat my son down, draped a cape over him, and spent TWO MINUTES completely butchering his hair. It looks like he cut it himself. They didn't wet it down or even comb it. As if that wasn't bad enough, the owner insisted on charging me $30 for this disaster, and then berated me in the middle of the salon when I calmly explained that i thought $30 was unreasonable given what had just occurred. He felt that it was fair because my son cried (because they scared the daylights out of him) and because he "has rent to pay."

Now I have to take my son to another salon and pay to have this mess fixed. I'm embarrassed for anyone to see him like this.
