Jimmy Choo — Local services in New York

Being a brand new store that just opened up they should have better service. I walked in with 3 pairs of shoes in mind that I wanted to purchase and nobody had a moment to actually say good morning, or even ask what I needed so I walked out without purchasing anything.There are better places that I could go and spend my money at. My local store in atlanta georgia has much better service and I rather spend my money there. There were six people hanging around in the store... and not even a greeting .. then I picked up a couple of pairs to look at details and not even a look. I did say something on my way out of the store. I know the money that I spent there or in Atlanta will go to the same place.However I rather do it in a friendlier place than that. And before you ask yourself whether I was wearing something that would make me look like I was not gonna buy.I was dressed appropriately for luxury shopping...not PRETTY...

I purchased a block heel around 5pm on Oct.1. Not sure why the transaction wasnt made infront of me. They took the shoe in a back room and brought it back after about 5-10 mins. I purchased the shoe and left the store without checking what was in the bag. Later that night when I took the shoe out I realized that the store sold me a completely used shoe. See pictures for reference. Took it to a LI location to have it returned and they had to reach out to the location to ensure it was sold like that. I was told that since I tried it on it has those marks… I tried the shoes on for less than 2 minutes and it was on a carpet, so how can the shoe be in such used condition??? On top of that all the packaging wrappers look very wrinkly and didn’t look brand new. Very disappointed that such high end shoe brand would sell something without properly doing quality check and then blame...

We were at this store Wednesday 10'th of July, and the staff talked about us behind our back, and it made us feel really uncomfortable, and we left imidiately after. This is a big contrast to the JC store in Oslo where my wife has bought her shoes before, but from now on I will insist we don't buy from Jimmy Choo based on the "why are they even here" talk behind our back. This is totally unacceptable!! Going out buying luxury shoes is supposed to be exciting and fun, not make you feel bad and uncomfortable because the staff don't think you can afford the shoes (or whatever their problem with us was). I would advise everyone to spend their money at somewhere else where they treat all their customers...
