My decision to use Moving Forward Physical Therapy to rehabilitate my most recent knee and cardiac issues has been one of the best choices I have ever made in regards to my health and self-care. I have had a litany of sports related injuries throughout my life that have required physical therapy. I have never received the type of comprehensive care with attention to detail that I currently get on a week to week basis. My previous experiences in physical therapy, would best be described as going to a PT mill. My sessions would normally involve 5-10 minutes with a physical therapist followed by 40 minutes of cookie cutter exercises supervised by a PT assistant or with no supervision at all. My experience at Moving Forward has been the complete opposite. I receive a full one hour session with a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) who stays with me from exercise to exercise, rep to rep. I have been lucky enough to work with two excellent DPTs during my time at Moving Forward, Oscar Chen and Daniel Zhu. They push me to work hard during every session and tailor my exercises and routines to how Iām feeling on that day. They motivate me to give my best effort and they genuinely care about my recovery. I look forward to every session I have at Moving Forward Physical Therapy because these doctors have become more than just a weekly appointment for me that is required by my orthopedist. They have become both my friends and confidants that share the same goals of my rehabilitation. This level of physical and emotional support has helped to speed up my recovery faster than expected and has made the process truly enjoyable. In regards to quality of care and quality of personnel, Moving Forward Physical Therapy is second to none. A 5 star review is not nearly enough to quantify the difference they continue to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am currently a patient at Moving Forward Physical Therapy. I have been working with Dr Brandon Ong for a few months now, and have been amazed at how my body has transformed. I feel stronger, more confident and healthier than I have ever felt. Dr Ong has a deep understanding of the human body and its mechanics, coupled with his ability to diagnose and address my specific condition. He patiently listens to my concerns and thoroughly explains the treatment plan. I was nervous about starting strength training as I have never done it before, but Dr Ong made that transition extremely easy for me. He is very skilled and genuinely compassionate about what he does.
I cannot recommend this practice enough. From the moment I walked into the practice, I knew I was in good hands. The staff is very courteous and accommodating. All of the docs are extremely knowledgeable, professional and are committed to your well-being. I have personally also worked with Dr Vitaly Dvoskin and Dr Brandon Woo, who are phenomenal as well. Joining this practice will set you on the path to recovery and a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI hurt my neck in 2016 and had nerve pain on my left side that radiated down my left arm to my fingertips and made my left arm and hand useless for six months. I started seeing Dr. Vitaly after having seen many, many practitioners over many disciplines. Dr. Vitaly rehabbed my neck and shoulder, so I could drive again, carry things, function in daily life, and sleep through the night. Iāve referred a number of my psychotherapy patients who had injuries to him and they have universally been appreciative of the great treatment he and his staff have provided. Brilliant understanding of the human body and how to make it work better! Update: when I broke my shoulder in Jan 2023, Brandon did a virtual session with me to help me troubleshoot my most difficult one-handed everyday task: opening the pop top cans twice a day to feed my cat. He was creative in coming up with a solution using a shoelace, my knees, and my left hand. The PTs and other staff are upbeat and incredibly dedicated, and go out of their way to give a...
