Defective, low-quality furniture to avoid at all costs. I purchased the Malibu Sofa in "performance velvet," specifically emphasizing that I needed a durable, high-quality fabric due to having a small dog. The sales associate assured me that this fabric was optimal for my needs, but the reality could not have been further from the truth. Upon receiving the sofa, I covered it temporarily with a sheet to shield it from sunlight. Within hours, my dog, whose nails had been trimmed just four days prior, lightly scratched the seat while settling down. When I removed the sheet, I was shocked to find deep, visible scratches throughout the fabric. For context, I’ve owned a Conran Shop velvet couch for six years, which has never been covered and has withstood countless incidents of my dog scratching at it, yet it shows no signs of wear. This stark comparison highlights how inferior and fragile Jonathan Adler’s so-called "performance velvet" truly is. It is nowhere near the standard of quality they claim—it is cheap, flimsy, and entirely unsuitable for its advertised purpose. When I raised this issue with the company, I expected a brand of this stature to stand behind its product and resolve the matter promptly. Instead, I was subjected to over a month of frustrating runarounds, passed between departments with no accountability or genuine effort to help. Multiple sales associates hinted that the company was considering replacing the sofa or at least the damaged cushions. Yet after weeks of waiting, they offered nothing but the insulting suggestion to steam the fabric or use a velvet brush—solutions I had already tried and informed them were ineffective. Jonathan Adler markets itself as a premium brand, yet the quality of this product is appalling. I paid a premium price expecting a durable, high-quality sofa backed by a reliable team. What I received was a substandard product that fails even the most basic durability tests, along with a customer service team that dismisses valid concerns and refuses to take responsibility. I will never shop with this company again, and I strongly advise others to think twice before doing so. Their disregard for product quality and customer satisfaction is nothing short of disgraceful.

95% of the store is not my style but for those looking for this Glam, Pop design, it is Heaven. They have very bright colored furniture, glassware, porcelain sculptures, beaded wall art, alternative design board games like chess and much more. The store has a prototype design studio in house and corporate office upstairs. Stop in and at the very least appreciate a different style of design

Thank you guys so much! This team is so awesome, and on top of the ball! They went into the archives for me to pull a piece I really needed but that is sold out and went way above and beyond!!! Also, they sent a gift to some friends for me and did such an amazing job with the presentation ! Thank you thank you !!!

I hadn't heard of Jonathan Adler until my girlfriend told me. She wanted to buy their Talitha Credenze. So we bought it for appx USD$ 3,600. We also bought one of their medium size bowls, in blue. When it arrived it wasn't blue, it was teal.

We called them and they told us that it was final sale, but they will let us exchange it for something else or give us a store credit. They sent us an email will all the details.

We packed it exactly how they asked will exactly all the details they gave us and paid postage and returned it. For some reason, they refused the parcel and returned it to us and USPS charged us over $25 to accept the parcel.

I called JA and spoke with a very nice lady, and she looked into it and said she could see that it was refused, but had no idea why. She asked me to send an email with a picture of the box. I did it right away.

Nest day we received an email with a return label. This infuriated me. What about the $25 we paid to accept the parcel because of their incompetence? We exchanged numerous email and each of their responses were argumentative. Hello....we just spent almost $4,000 to buy 1 piece of furniture, we are not lying about the $25. Its not about the money, its about the principle.

They asked for the receipt, but unfortunately USPS hadn't given any receipt. And according to JA, since we don't have the receipt, we are apparently lying about the $25. Well....good on them for providing such amazing service. Small claims court it is....because its about the principle and I can't let them get...

I had such a lovely experience at this shop thanks to Sydney! From the moment I walked in, she was incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely helpful. I was on a bit of a mission to find a specific pillow, and she not only helped me find exactly what I needed, but did it with a smile and a fantastic attitude that instantly brightened my day.

Sydney went above and beyond in the most effortless way. It’s rare to find someone who makes you feel so well taken care of, and she did just that—turning a simple shopping trip into a moment of joy.

Thank you, Sydney! You’re a gem, and this store is lucky...
