I visited this Labcorp location on Saturday, July 26th for a simple drug test. What should have been a quick, 1-minute procedure turned into an almost two-hour wait—not due to a high volume of patients, but because of extremely unprofessional and disorganized staff.
Upon arrival, there were only a few people in the waiting area, so I assumed the process would be efficient. Unfortunately, that was far from the case. One of the staff members actually left me waiting in the back room while she went out to buy chips and snacks for herself. She even knocked on the inside lab door upon returning, and I was the one who had to open the door to let her in, which felt incredibly inappropriate and unprofessional.
There was no sense of urgency, responsibility, or customer care demonstrated by the staff. Their behavior was careless and indifferent, with no regard for patients’ time or commitments. I had other scheduled appointments later that day that I had to cancel because of this delay.
It’s disappointing to see such poor service, especially at a facility responsible for handling sensitive testing and documentation. I strongly urge Labcorp management to review the performance and conduct of the staff at this location, and to implement proper training and oversight. Patients deserve to be treated with respect and professionalism, and I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for others...
Read moreI am beyond appalled by what happened during my recent visit to Labcorp. I went in to get my own blood work done and while I was being seen, the staff took it upon themselves to draw blood from my four-year-old niece without any form of consent. She is a child, and no one not a parent or legal guardian gave permission for this to happen. This is not just unprofessional, it is completely unethical and potentially illegal. How can you perform a medical procedure on a minor without verifying consent? My niece was simply curious and watching and somehow that turned into her being stuck with a needle? I am still in shock and deeply disturbed by this experience. It’s not only traumatizing for her, but also a total violation of basic healthcare standards and parental rights. This incident needs to be investigated immediately, and I strongly urge other parents and guardians to be extremely cautious if they visit this Labcorp location. I will never be returning and I’m considering taking...
Read moreThe staff are very friendly and polite, but that’s beside the point because nearly everything is automated. You can’t get anyone on the phone, and they will not call back if you leave a message. Appointments can only be scheduled online, and check in is done at a tablet in the lobby. The problem is that the online scheduler allows patients to schedule appointments for services that this lab cannot perform, and the only way to find out if they will be able to do what you need is by scheduling, going in, and waiting 20 minutes past the scheduled appointment time. Clearly, the people in charge of this company are unconcerned with the well-being of their patients, or they would do a better job keeping their website up to date. But why should they bother, so long as the bulk of their business comes from folks who have no choice but to use the lab their insurance company tells them to? More proof that the U.S. has swapped its healthcare system for an...
