I have been going to Lana for several months now, and I completely recommend you to see her if you are considering it. Lana was initially recommended to me by a friend, as I mentioned to him that I was in need of a dry needling and electrical stimulation professional that could complement my physical therapy (I have torn my achilles, hamstring, and just had a hip arthroscopy for a torn labrum).
Lana has been great. Due to working with her, I’ve seen much improvement in my range of motion, flexibility and muscle responsiveness. She’s very knowledgeable about the body and her craft, and she is able to find and release trigger points efficiently. I am able to describe the symptoms of how my body is feeling, and she is always able to make a determination of what’s the most likely culprit and address it in session. I leave feeling immediately better with lasting effects!
In addition to being able to address complications in session, Lana always does her homework. Week to week, she comes in with a game plan for what target areas she wants to work; yet, she maintains enough flexibility to adjust to how I am feeling that week, and this ensures a session specifically tailored to my needs.
Lana also does a fantastic job of explaining the science behind what she’s doing and educating you along the way. Lastly, she’s a great person and you can tell that she’s invested in the care of her patients, and is not just there to collect money. I have bounced around between and seen a handful of health practitioners before being introduced to Lana. She’s definitely top notch, and I...
Read moreLana’s been treating me for about three years now and has changed my life. I started seeing her for my chronic shoulder and upper back pain and immediately felt better…less tightness, less soreness, less overall pain. After my first visit I got right back to my usual workout routine and could feel the difference in the way my body moved and handled weights. After consistent treatment, I started sleeping better and was able to be more present in my dad-to-day life without worrying about pain flare-ups. She gave me the gift of enjoying my life again.
She has a natural healing gift and her patients are her first priority. One night, I was doubled over in pain with intense abdominal cramps. I had no idea what was happening but immediately called Lana knowing she could help me. She literally dropped everything and came to my rescue like a knight in shining armor. She had me lay down and treat several points on my feet and lower legs and I kid you not, within minutes, I was feeling better. I sat up and could walk again. She is, without a doubt, one of the most kind and knowledgable acupuncturists and human beings I’ve ever had the honor of...
Read moreI’ve gone to Lana for quite a few different aches and pains from boxing, powerlifting, and rock climbing. Lana’s treatments are downright magical. When I came to Lana with elbow pains from starting boxing, she worked on the muscles around my elbow and alleviated all of my pain, which allowed me to get right back to training.
Another time I had thrown out my back from lifting. She targeted the muscles in my glutes, lower back, and abdominals to release the tension and significantly speed up my recovery time.
When Lana “releases” muscles, it feels like there’s a “bubble” of tension in my muscle that she pinpoints and dissipates to fix the pain almost immediately. It’s so satisfying to feel such quick relief!
On top of that, she uses needles in parts of my body that are far from the area that hurts. She’s explained that this is to help treat the underlying patterns that make me susceptible to the injuries and imbalances I have. Since seeing Lana for acupuncture, I’ve been getting injured less and less.
I can’t recommend Lana enough - she’s incredibly talented, very professional, and an absolute delight...
