This is how I rerun home last night. When parking at this garage. Came to nyc to have dinner and park here for about 3 hrs. Sadly employees said garage parking won’t be responsible for what happened. This place is advertise as secure and safe. Only cameras available is in the bottom floor topper floor no cameras at all. We park on the third floor someone broke two window of my car and took my daughter iPad and a backpack I had in the passenger seat. It’s said how you pay for a place that is not secure. They have only three guys working to monitor the whole garage one sitting in an office and the other in the entrance booth. I asked to speak to a manager and they said I have to call Monday. Managers should be available for this type situation. Manager was the only person who can show the cameras videos. i had park in different parking lots in nyc first bad experience.

5 Stars: I'm a car enthusiast with a manual transmission car, and this garage is a great self-park option. Go up to the higher levels or roof and you can get a spot with no one around you. 2 Stars: Customer service & equipment. Gates sometimes are closed or do not open when you put your ticket in, and you have to wait for, (in my experiences), attendants who are "not pleasant." And then you factor in the price you're paying for this "service"... = 4 Stars: I'll deal with the shortcomings to park my own car where I want. And let's be honest, this is NYC. If you find a place with nice attendants that drive stick well and have safe spots for your car, chances are it's in another multiverse. (Edited: 11/14/23. Several more uses with no issues and added a photo of a car nicer than mine.)

Easy accessible parking garage near Battery Park. Very convenient to reach all the attractions. MTS is also very close by. We've reserved the parking through Spot Hero app one day in advance for Sunday on Labor Day weekend. It was for 12 hours of parking price of $26. It was very reasonable price. Plenty of parking lots available. Easy to access the entrance and exit. If we've barcode, we can scan while entering and leaving. Otherwise we can also buy with credit card. All is authentic. Elevator available to reach all level of garage. At L level, they have rest rooms which are for free for customers but it can be accessible by public as well as there is no lock to main doors or restrooms.

I had to get my car towed from here, which wasn't the fault of the garage, but I do have a gripe with the staff who were there at the time of the towing.

I went downstairs to speak with the only employee on duty in the office to ask him what the procedure to get my car towed would look like. I found the kiosk completely unattended, so I waited. After few of minutes, a man standing across the garage (who could clearly see me) finished his cigarette and came over to speak with me. He mumbled a few words after I explained the situation and told me to tell him when the truck arrived.

I returned to the office about an hour later to find it empty again, the same man was smoking a cigarette outside. I approached him and told him the truck was coming in a few minutes. He shrugged, said something along the lines of "my shift done. not my problem. new person" and walked away with the office still unattended.

Fast forward an hour-and-a-half, I explained the situation with the next staff to arrive, the tow truck driver is now trying to leave the garage with a validated ticket that was supposed to get his vehicle and my car out. It doesn't.

There is only one exit from the garage wide enough to accommodate a tow truck and towed car, which is clearly the exit we needed to use. At the ground-level this is effectively a totally different building from the building with the staff in it. The office in this part of the building was unstaffed, so I need to walk five minutes to get back to the office area to tell the man at the kiosk that his "validated ticket" wasn't working and was asking us to pay.

The man didn't believe me and thought we don't know how to operate a parking garage exit machine (who even knows what they're actually called). He came over to put the ticket into the machine himself and was surprised to discover that we weren't lying and actually knew how to operate it.

At this point maybe 30 minutes had passed since we got to the exit gates and a line of cars trying to exit formed behind the tow truck. The staff member asked the tow truck driver to back up and said he couldn't open the gate from here and returned to the main building to print a new validated ticket for us.

In total the process to get towed was 6 hours with 2 of those hours spent just trying to get out of the garage. The parking situation was okay, but the people there were completely unhelpful and...

This Parking Garage which is located on Greenwich St in Lower Manhattan, has both pros and cons in my opinion. And for a parking garage located in Lower Manhattan I feel like the restriction list is QUITE extensive. Way too extensive and detailed for me to give it a 5 star rating, that is for sure. First off, there are NO in or out privileges. So let's say I make a three weeks reservation from March 3rd to March 24th (21 days), I wouldn't be able to take my car out for a spin, or say grocery shopping, or wherever I would have to go during that given three week period, and bring my car back, although I have made a reservation for my particular parking spot for three weeks. Extremely corny in my opinion. Also I understand totally the need for the 24 Hour in Advance Cancellation Policy, but I have a feeling let's say they filled up the lot on accident on their own and THEY had to cancel say 3 hours before your scheduled to start your reservation, I feel like even though it was totally their fault they would still charge you as if you didn't cancel on time, even though they are canceling. I bet they have a loophole or some other kind of policy where they wouldn't cancel they would tell you you can wait right outside the lot until a spot opens, and you could be out there for days, untill someone takes their car and leaves to open a spot, and let's say you don't agree to that, boom, your breaking 24 hour cancellation notice policy and you still pay, which let's say your doing a 3 week trip like I mentioned before, that would cost you a pretty penny. If I was leaving NYC for 3 weeks starting March 3rd, and I wanted to leave my car here, if I got it there for 8 am on March 3rd and returned on March 24th at 7pm it would run me an estimated $1,080 dollars. Which is QUITE the charge. Especially if that loop holes exists. also if you lose your ticket while your out in your travel and come back without the ticket but can easily prove identity and ownership of vehicle and parking policy, they would charge you $46 everyday that you had your car there extra because you lost your ticket. Which is WAY too much. Extra $966 for a 3 week trip. No thanks. That alone gets your establishment 2 stars my friends. Would...

The situation I experienced here was unbelievable because it was such obviously a scam. I showed up exactly 60 min from when I entered the parking garage to have my ticket processed. He sat there for 3 minutes just looking at my ticket over and over. I was going to ask if he needed help reading the thing at a point. Then he finally stamps it. He says I am 7 minutes past the time, I show him the time the ticket says I entered. He corrects it to 3 min past the time so he says he is going to give me a good deal of only $12 extra charge. Then I point out I arrived at the window 3 minutes prior and we have been standing here for this time he wants to charge me for. Plus there was a wait of 1 lady ahead of me he just kept talking with for a couple of minutes. He then proceeds to try to tell me his computer clock that punches the ticket reads a time that is faster than my cellphone and my watch. I couldn’t believe the level of scammery happening in front of me. Well of course I have to pay the extra $12 or I would have to go through the hassle and time of calling the police and going through the cameras for my money and car to be allowed to exit the garage. Finally the grand total was $45 for 1 hour that was advertised as $22 on the sign out front. So just beware, they might take advantage of you if you leave them the room to.

Btw: I was told to go through spothero by the attendant out front before entering to reserve a parking space. DO NOT book through this, they...
