I was really impressed with this 711. Good, friendly and hard working employees working at this location. However, slowly I've witnessed the location lose its customer service towards customers. I just visited the franchise for my lunch break and waited and waited for someone to take my order. Even after the line went down to the front cashiers, they saw me and said NOTHING. (This is not the first time this has been done to me) I approached an employee and asked if someone could help me as I wanted to order food. She apologized and said they were short staffed, however there was 3 employees present and 1 doing absolutely nothing. I waited a little more and left. Almost all of my break wasted on waiting, for nothing. That store was hectic , I witness Kenneth and other workers trying to accommodate customers, but a thief was stealing hot dogs and taking all the soda. Plus a crowd of tourist unsure of their purchase. All of the chaos going on and yet still maintaining is a lot. That area is a high stressful place. You was being nosy overhearing a conversation with another customer which was me. I was being rude because I know what it’s like dealing with a holes like yourself. Read moreAbsolutely unacceptable customer service. I visited this 7-Eleven and purchased a pack of AA batteries, only to realize minutes later that I actually needed AAA. I returned within five minutes, with the receipt in hand and the product completely unopened.
Despite this, the staff refused to exchange the batteries, claiming that “no exchange on electronic cigarettes” also applied to batteries — which is nowhere stated or implied. That’s not only misleading, it’s borderline gaslighting.
Trying to pass off “electronics” as part of a “no exchange on electronic cigarettes” policy is absurd. If you’re going to deny returns, have the decency to post it clearly and be honest with customers instead of making up rules on the spot.
I won’t be returning to this location, and I’d strongly advise others to check everything carefully — and not expect fairness or accountability if...
