I don't think I have ever really reviewed a place but felt I had to after numerous amazing experiences.
The people here are just friendly. They want to help you. It has that small town mom and pop shop vibe in a city where people are scraping every penny.
Some people in this Amazon world want to save down to a penny. Is rather pay the same or a penny more for one on one better service and having someone take care of me and solving my problem. The manager Cliff who I met is very nice and goes above and beyond to help.

Read moreI was actually referred to Lexington Avenue Hardware by a Home Depot associate, 2 weeks ago, after trying & failing to fix a lamp myself. Today was my 3rd visit to pick up a 2nd repaired lamp by Richard, resident lamp repair man extraordinaire! Though the cost is not necessarily low (I recently had 1 of the 2 lamps rewired elsewhere) then unfortunately subsequently broke both! Read moreI walked in and waited while they helped 2 other customers. No one acknowledged me although help was walking around. I asked one employee to help but he got quickly distracted and walked away to help someone else. I waited and asked another who WAS helping me but the "owner" called him to help someone else again. The employee said "she was first, she has been waiting" and he said the other guy is a "good customer".
