A True Luxury Experience at Luisa of Roma ā NYC Flagship
Stepping into the Luisa of Roma flagship in NYC felt like entering a bygone era of true luxury retail ā one that evokes the golden days of Parisian fashion houses, when customer service was an art form and shopping was an experience to be savored.
From the moment my friends and I walked in, we were warmly greeted ā by Bernardo, a member of the back-of-house team who radiated genuine passion for the collections. With champagne in hand, he welcomed us with the kind of gracious hospitality that is rarely seen today, outside perhaps the HermĆØs mothership in Paris or Yves Saint Laurentās boutique during the designerās own era.
Bernardo's presence was unforgettable ā poised, engaging, and clearly someone who lives and breathes fashion. His warmth and attention to detail set the tone for the entire visit, making us feel like guests, not customers.
The boutique itself is a feast for the senses ā a curated mix of fashion, books, textures, and color. Itās not just a store; itās a space that celebrates style, creativity, and individuality. Every detail feels intentional, and every interaction felt personal.
Luisa of Romaās NYC flagship is a rare gem ā a place where the soul of fashion still lives and breathes. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBEWARE OF SHOPPING HERE: This store is a BORDERLINE SCAM because NOTHING IS REFUNDABLE (they only offer store credit), and they do not mention this anywhere -- not on their website, not in store, not on the tags, and not when you check out. When you try to return it, they insist that they told you this at checkout. My friend who was there with me at checkout corroborated me -- she did not hear them mention that all sales are final and could only be returned for store credit. When we told them that they did not tell us, they were so rude and tried to gaslight both of us into thinking that we were the ones who did not hear them. I definitely would not have bought several pieces if they told me I couldnāt return for cash.
Several of the cashmere items I bought here also pilled easily. Things might look nice here, but it's definitely not quality controlled.
Anyway, save yourself the headache and disgust of dealing with such horrible people by never coming here. There are so many other great places to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe store has a beautiful selection of clothing, but unfortunately, the customer service was disappointing. Despite the store being fairly quiet, the staff seemed more focused on their phones and personal conversations than assisting customers. I tried to get help with a vintage coat and a Chloe dress but was unable to get the attention I needed. Itās a shame because I wanted āsouvenirsā from my travels to NYC, but the lack of engagement from the staff detracts from the overall shopping experience. Seemed like they had a fun Halloween and hopefully next year when I come back itās a much...
