I have been coming to M&M for almost 8 years. It is my favorite nails salon in the city. The technicians are unmatched with talent and get it right 100% of the time. Their work is absolute perfection which is why I’ve be coming since college.
It pains me to write this review… honestly! Recently their receptionist has changed and is the most rude and insensitive person I’ve ever met. She made my cry at my last appointment and proceeded to tell me that they would no longer accept my business if I am late to an appointment again because I have been late 3x. In 7-8 years I’ve been late 3 times…. I paid the $25 late fee without any complaint and I absolutely felt horrible for wasting the technicians time.
I have no words for her behavior and would like to speak to her manager because no one should ever be treated like that. I know I’ve made the mistake of being late and I truly apologized and was crying and the woman was relentless. She did not stop to say that she would refuse my business if I was late again even when I was in tears. I’m not just a passionate nail enthusiast who has recommended M&M studios to so many of my friends but I am loyal. I always tip 20%! I’m kind. I’ve posted to my followers countless times for Free and M&M has acknowledged this. The fact that I have to reconsider ever coming back here because of the rude attitude of their receptionist is so appalling. Please consider hiring a new receptionist. She is intolerant and should not be in the client business. I kindly ask the manager of M&M to reach out to me. You have my information on your...
Read moreQuality has been inconsistent. I’ve had a great gel manicure with intricate art that lasted a month, but my most recent gel manicure from here lasted about 2 days before it started chipping. It started with just one nail. Fast forward 2 more days and all EXCEPT one were badly chipped.
I wrote to them about it to ask if anything can be done... a couple days passed before I got a response. Once they responded, they got me into their schedule later that week, but the manicurist rushed through it. The more I look at my nails, the more flaws I notice.
Worst of all, they charged me $40 to fix it when they never mentioned a cost for fixing their own mistakes in email or on their website menu. The other nail spots I’ve gone to have fixed my nails free of charge if they started chipping in less than one week, so I assumed it’d be the same here, but it’s not. Considering how pricey their services can be, as well as the $20 I’ve tipped for each manicure... idk
I don’t have an issue with paying for quality, and frankly, I don’t put too much weight on exceptional customer service either. But I’ve gotten almost the same level of quality for significantly less so.... not worth returning in my opinion. Maybe you’ll have more consistent and...
Read moreI have emergency with the appointment time, the problem is their policy. I thought I can get there at 4:30 by taxi, but there is a terrible traffic jam and I try my best to arrive there at 5:10. Before getting there, they texted me and agreed with me with a single color; however, they just say to me they are unable to do it and ask me to pay cancel fee!!!!!! I feel it’s kind of fraud that just want me to go there to pay, I will never ever recommend anyone to there.
——————————————————— So by the way you say, everybody with emergency can just miss the appointment without taking responsibility and they even don’t have to pay to accord with your cancellation policy?!
My appointment is 4:15, and I got there at 5:10 before paying time 5:15!!!!!!! You say you wait for 1.5 hrs where’s the 30 mins, it’s a ridiculous explanation to reply........ The problem I felt disrespected is I already try my best to get there, you even didn’t take a look on my nails or just ask me to wait for other artist when they are available, you just ask me to reschedule and pay directly. If you keep holding that kind of service to your customer, I need to say hope you can have this studio for...
