Since the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by Susan and Natasha. Susan was kind enough to give me a tour of the store, hair salon, and spa facilities. This first impression convinced me that I would be well taken care of. I had to leave to attend lunch with my sister, but I returned afterwards. Walk-ins are accepted as long as there is availability, which they had. Natasha was my esthetician. The consultation was a unique and luxurious experience. I'm accustomed to the esthetician observing under the lighted lens, inspecting my skin, and assessing what is needed. Natasha had me seated in their lounge area with a bottle of sparkling water for me to have. She asked me a series of questions to best assess what is needed. She was very thorough, and I greatly appreciated that she listened to me and my concerns. This experience has increased my trust in Natasha since the only person who would know my skin best is me, and having an esthetician listen instills an open mind. The treatment room had soothing music playing in the background, and a custom color lighting is set to your liking. I chose blue because I always find that it is a peaceful color. The bed is customized to suit your most comfortable preference. Natasha never once left the room. She gave me the hydration facial, which absolutely suited my needs since I felt extremely hydrated afterwards. After the facial, I met with Natasha in the lounge area with a hot peppermint tea waiting for me. She discussed at-home treatment products most suited for my skin. What I generously appreciate is that she provided me samples of her recommendations and did not push me to purchase products post-treatment. This is so wonderful since spas typically will have the recommended products waiting at checkout for one to purchase. Products can be shipped if one is unable to go in person, which is helpful for me. I wasn't sure if I would love my facial until I returned home to assume my night ritual. My skin was the softest and smoothest it had ever been! I struggle with congestion and clogged pores, and Natasha must've used magic to completely clear out the horrid hardened sebum. I felt the same softness and smoothness the next morning. I am absolutely floored with the entire experience, service, and results. It's finally wonderful to meet an esthetician like Natasha that understands my skin struggles, and was very positive and helpful. I highly recommend one plan a spa day with Natasha at...
Read moreI was recently treated to a trifecta of care at Sisley's in Soho for my birthday. As soon as I entered this dazzling space, I was immediately embraced with a welcoming and professional warmth. It made me feel more comfortable about unwinding.
The first treatment I received was the 90 min Grand Face Treatment or the Phyto-Blanc Unifying Facial. It was superbly administered by Natasha. She made me feel relaxed. She was très organized. I knew that when she was done that I was going to see favorable results; due mainly to her fine attention to every surface of my face. The high quality products she used had a hand in it as well. What a wonderful personality and soul on her. Thank you, Natasha!
The second treatment administered to me was the 90 min Le Grand Soin for Hair Treatment or the Styling Blow-Out. For a person like me who admittingly carries tension and stress throughout their day, these 90 minutes with Hass were surprisingly necessary. I thought that I was going to get a modern wash and set, but what I experienced was much more. My scalp received some great tlc. My hair was too super soft. I was introduced also to a new type of volume and style that I will be now maintaining. What a wealth of hair knowledge I received. Thank you, Hass!
Alas, came my Express Makeover or the application of make up by Sterling. Sterling was very communicative about what he was applying on my face. He was so friendly and showed me other areas of my face that I can care for as well as other colors I can use. I am so appreciative. Thank you, Sterling.
Overall, what a luxe establishment and what amazing and professional staff Sisley's has. Their spa menu is full of amuse bouche's of delight for your skin and hair. The products used too here are high-qualitè. I left feeling royal and relaxed, and with the added extra bonus of a smile. I say don't wait for someone to treat you to a Maison Sisley's in Soho experience. Treat...
Read moreI had a coupon for a discount on a facial, which as a former owner of a salon/spa, I knew most likely meant that I'd be getting a training level aesthetician. The aesthetician was lovely, well mannered and has the natural ability to be very good. However, the spa has a very bizarre 4 page questionnaire poorly translated from French that asks questions no normally asked about facials. The one that threw me had to do with what intensity level was I comfortable with (light, medium, strong). This threw me and I assumed it was regarding the massage elements (neck & shoulder) so I said strong. However, the aesthetician must have thought that meant I wanted to be scrubbed very hard and vigorously on my face, while using a rough mitt or scrubbing agent at the same time. I tend to not complain but I said wow this really burns a couple times and she said " that means it's working ". I had what looked like burns on my face for several days after and had to apply burn cream and heavy moister to prevent scabbing. I will not mention her by name b/c it wasn't her fault but a poor questionnaire, lack of training and supervision. Because it was at a discount, maybe most folks would not complain but even with the discount, I paid extra for extractions and it was similar in cost to other much superior facials received in other places. I may mention, I am fair skinned, blue eyed and have what has been called sensitive dry skin by any other qualified aesthetician who has looked at my skin for more than one minute. I hope they can correct this.
One other point, in order to leave a gratuity for my aesthetician I had to get her personal telephone number and do it via Zelle, entering her personal name and email into my phone in order to leave a tip. This is not safe for the personnel and it is CHEAP. A high end salon needs to accommodate a better system of tipping of which...
